Chapter Thirteen: A Ghostly Encounter

"This is ridiculous!" exclaimed Lucifer who had another miserable defeat, any monster he threw at the rangers they would always destroy. He was nowhere near getting the colt than he anticipated. "These Rangers should not have been involved with the colt in the first place!"

"It's dreadfully horrible sir," says Azazel who was standing by his king's throne. "We need to figure out how to defeat them!"

"The problem is they work as a team and with Mark leading them, they're unbeatable," says Lucifer, suddenly a thought occurred to him as a smirk appeared on his face. "That's it, I'm a genius!" he turned toward Azazel and made his way over. "Azazel, why don't we make these rangers, disappear?"

"You mean isolate the red ranger, so he won't be able to defeat us?" Questioned Azazel.

"Exactly, he's nothing without his team and if we can make them disappear," says Lucifer expecting Azazel to get the picture.

"Then it will give us a better chance to go after the colt!" finished Azazel.

"Correct, and I know just the monster to send out," back at the bunker, the rangers were busy talking and playing video games, Mark and Sean had introduced Sam and Dean to Phasmophobia as the girls were busy making tik tok videos. Phasmophobia was a ghost hunting simulation and Dean found it completely fake compared to the real thing.

"Seriously?" says Dean. "This is the weirdest Simulation I had ever played,"

"Have you actually played a video game in your life?" questioned Sam.

"That's not the point, I don't need a video game to tell me about ghosts, I lived that," answered Dean.

"Well, this shouldn't be any different," says Sean. In the game he looked over and saw a spirit as he tried to get his character to run. "Guys! A little help!"

"You know it would be easier if there was iron," says Dean pointing out the obvious as Sean screamed and died first again.

"Man, why do I always have to die first?" he complained as he turned toward Dean. "Just because you've lived through it, doesn't mean there's anything wrong with some downtime,"

"Whatever," says Dean as he left the game and made his way over to the front of the bunker. "Colby, any news on Lucifer?"

"Not yet Dean," says Colby. "He seems pretty quiet right now, which is weird," what they didn't realize was that Lucifer was quietly sending a ghostly monster to wreak havoc on Los Angeles. It touched the victims and turned them into spirits. Immediately the alarm went off making everyone in the bunker jump. Knowing what's going on, the rangers raced over to Dean and Colby.

"What's going on?" asks Sean who was still trying to get used to the alarm going off.

"There's an attack on Los Angeles but we can't seem to find the monster," answered Colby.

"Don't worry," says Mark. "If it's there, then we'll find it," the rangers morphed into their ranger suits and raced toward Los Angeles. Upon arrival, the area was extremely quiet and worse it seemed like it was a ghost town. There wasn't a single living soul around. "Keep your eyes peeled," suddenly, as if sensing where the monster was, Mark turned toward one of the tables.

"Katrina! You arrows now! By the table!" Mark yelled. Katrina called on her weapon as it appeared in her hand and shot the arrow at the table. The monster cried out as she flew through the air and landed in front of the rangers. "Got you!"

"What the?! Who shot at me, that hurt!" she cried.

"That would be me," says Katrina.

"Who are you and what have you done to those civilians?" questioned Mark.

"I made them disappear," says the monster as she laughed high pitched and girly. "What are you going to do about it rangers?" she continued. "Dark angels! Attack!" Suddenly, the dark angels appeared before the rangers as they started attacking them. Mark and the rest fought back and knocked each of the angels down. Waiting until they were completely distracted, the monster appeared and reappeared by Katrina who was caught off guard. Katrina gasped as she tried to fight back but the monster was too fast, it had touched Katrina and she saw that she was starting to disappear.

"Katrina!" exclaimed Sam as he knocked a dark angel down and went after the monster. "What did you do to her!" he swung his sword, but the monster vanished and reappeared behind him.

"I made her vanish!" yelled the ghostly monster. "You can join her,"

"Not likely," says Sam trying to strike the monster but it didn't seem to work, his weapon passed clean through her body. "What?" stunned and briefly distracted, the monster flew toward Sam and touched him making him disappear as well.

"Mark!" Exclaims Sean as he pointed out what the monster had done to Sam and Kat. When Mark saw what the monster had done, he continued to fight the dark angels. "They vanished!"

"What?!" exclaims Mark while he knocked an angel down. As Sean and Tara fought using their weapons, the monster touched them both causing them to disappear. It left Mark isolated and completely alone. When Lucifer saw that Mark was alone, he turned toward Azazel.

"Azazel, the red ranger is alone, you know what to do," he says.

"Yes, my liege," disappearing in black smoke, he reappeared before Mark and struck him unexpectedly in the chest. Mark flew back and rolled on the ground, he looked up and saw that the rest of his team had vanished and standing before him was Azazel.

"What did you do with them?!" he exclaimed as he got up and summoned his weapon. He ran at Azazel and tried to strike him in the chest, the demon took a step back as the ghostly monster attacked Mark. Not expecting the attack, he blocked it with his hand as he was flipped onto the ground and forced to dimorph.

"Your nothing without your team Red Ranger," says Azazel as both the ghost monster and Azazel charged their weapons. Seeing that Mark was in danger, Dean raced for the safe and grabbed a silver sword.

"I'll be back Colby, try to find the other rangers!" he exclaimed.

"I will do my best Dean," called Colby. Knowing that he can trust his partner, Dean took off and raced to Mark's aid
