༻✦༺ ༻✧༺ ༻✦༺On a cold crisp autumn night, a young boy could be heard whimpering in pain while red hot sticky substance leaked from a wound in his abdomen.
That young mans name was Alfie Summers. He wasn't anyone special, he never went out of his way to annoy or upset people. In fact, he was probably the nicest person in his entire village.
Yet here he was, bleeding to death after someone had purposely stabbed him. It wasn't an accidental stabbing either, it wasn't like he had gotten into a scrap with someone. This was done with passion, the person who had stabbed him knew what they where doing and who they where doing it to.
Alfie felt tears prickle in his eyes as he felt his life slip through his fingers. He was going to die, he knew that, but he wasn't ready. He didn't want to go, he didn't want to leave his family behind.
Slowly the air got colder and it began to twist and turn in spirals almost like a mini hurricane, heading straight towards the helpless teen.
'I'm so sorry young one, but this has to happen. For you, for him and for them. I'm so sorry.'
Alfie gasped at the voice in the wind, blood slowly filling up his lungs causing him to choke and blood to splatter onto the pavement.
There was a bright flash and Alfie was positive his life just flashed before his eyes. Was this it? He wondered, is this the end?
Slowly everything started to get dark. Alfie was sure he should have felt scared, but instead he felt a sort of peace. He felt warm and cosy. Is this what deaths supposed to feel like?
Opening his forest green eyes open, he frowned. Alfie was no longer on the pavement bleeding to death, instead he was inside a small box like room.
Looking down he saw no blood and when he lifted his shirt there was no wound. "What?" He gasped in shock. Had he passed out? Had someone found him and taken him somewhere safe?
Alfie jumped, the door rattled with force as someone knocked on it. Suddenly Alfie hunched over gripping his head in pain as memories that weren't his filled his head.
His name was Alfie Gilbert, not Summers. He had a twin sister, Elena, and a younger brother, Jeremy.
Why did those names sound so familiar? He wondered softly before whimpering in pain as more memories hit him with a horrible force.
His parents had recently died in a car accident that his sister was in and now they currently had their aunt Jenna looking after them.
The door rattled again, this time with more force than the last. "Alfie! Get up, your going to be late for the first day back! Bonnie will be here soon, so up now!"
Alfie groaned, falling backwards onto his bed with a small huff. Alfie now knew why those names sounded so familiar. He just had to die and wake up in a show he knew next to nothing about. The Vampire Diary's.
"Fuck!"
