┗━━━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━━┛Alfie Gilbert, who was now sitting on his bed instead of standing next to it, was staring dumbfounded at the blue slip of glass in his hand.
Turning it on, Alfie was hit with a dreadful feeling. Clicking on his call log, he saw 5 miss calls and 1 voicemail Mumma bear. 8 Miss calls from papa. 3 Miss calls and 1 voicemail from douche
Clicking on the voicemail, he held the phone to his ear and felt his eyes full with tears at the familiar sound of his Mum's voice.
"Alfie, Sweetheart, it's 5 Am. Daniel said you left his at 11. Please call me back, we are worried darling."
"Alfie, where are you mate. Mum's worried sick! Dad thinks your probably having a bender, but I'm with mum on this. If somethings happened or your in trouble or whatever, call us back or so help me, I'll take a hammer to your Xbox."
Alfie gave a watery chuckle at the empty threat, hearing the worry in both his mum and brother's voice made his heart clench.
Checking his texts, they where basically filled the exact same, 'where are you?' 'Call me' 'we are getting worried, please answer the phone.'
Going to his Mum's contact, he clicked call and put the phone to his ear.
"I'm sorry, the number you are trying to call no longer exists, please put in the correct number and try again."
Frowning, Alfie tried again, and again, and again. Each time getting the same response. He stared at his phone, his mouth agape and one lone tear dripping down his pale cheek.
His phone dinged and a small notification appeared in the top corner of the screen. Clicking on it he was sent to a small news video.
"The investigation into the disappearance of Alfie Summers is still underway. On June 10th at approximately 11PM, Alfie Summers left his friends apartment to make his way home.
Security cameras where able to catch Alfie walking through an underpass but never came out the other side.
If anyone has any information please call the number at the bottom of the screen, his family and friends are all very worried.
My name is Victoria Wood and this is BBC News. Goodnight."
Alfie sat on his bed in a state of shock, so he really had just disappeared into thin air. But then what was the point of that man stabbing him?
Alfie didn't know what to think, his mind was working a mile a minute, trying to process what he had just watched.
His family thought he had probably run away and abandoned them. Alfie shook his head, No! They know I would never do that!
