Uuugggghhhh FINALLY!!! How long has it been? It's been since February, right? GEEZE, I'm so sorry...how about y'all read this new chapter as an apology gift?

Will's POV

"No! You're not going! It's my problem so I'll handle it!"

"Emma, I'm not letting you go. That's my decision and it's final." I sighed, looking down at Emma as she fumed with anger, watching Dylan and some others get in gear. Tonight, we were going to hunt down Blade and put an end to him.

"But I'm the one who started this! He won't stop until our deal is done. If you're going just let me come and help." She glared up at me with her blue eyes. It was almost difficult to say no to her.

"Emma." I continued to stare down at her, arms crossed. I knew exactly what would happen if we let her come. She'd try to be the hero and join Blade to save us if we needed it. But I had a plan of my own. "Okay fine, you can come." I lied smoothly. "So where does Blade hide out?"

She smiled but that soon faltered. "Uh...that I don't know."

My eyebrows shot up. "So then how did you find him before?"

Emma looked down at her feet. "Well, he sort of gave me a sign."

"A sign?" I sighed and uncrossed my arms, glancing over at the others in gear. They were waiting expectantly. "What kind of sign?"

"I don't know. All I know is that I stood on the balcony and looked out into the city. I saw something and flew to it. Then what do you know? Blade was there." She shrugged as if it was a casual thing that happened everyday.

I nodded as a plan formed in my head. "Okay, look out there again, see if you catch another glimpse of the sign."

Emma nodded, her messy brown hair bouncing with the movements. I wanted so bad just to tuck some of it behind her ear and- okay Will, shut up, she doesn't like you that way.

Emma walked over to the balcony and scanned the city. While her back was turned, I nodded to Moxie. She seemed to have taken the hint and stepped a little closer to where Emma was.

"There." Emma said, pointing off into the distance. "He's somewhere over there, near the water."

Near the water? Was Blade holding off in some old warehouse? It's so cliche that we didn't even think about it. Got to give him props for that.

"Okay then." I nodded and looked over to Moxie, who was waiting for my signal. "Moxie?"

She nodded and quickly disappeared into her shadow, reappearing behind Emma and grabbing her wrists. Emma, caught off guard, tried to pull away. "What the heck?! Moxie, let go!"

"Sorry." She chuckled. "No can do, orders from the boss."

"From the boss...?" Emma's eyes immediately snapped to me, making me cringe. The look she was giving me, that sparked real fear. "Will, did you tell her to do this?"

Hesitantly, I nodded while I rubbed the back of my neck. "Yeah...I couldn't really risk you coming..."

"WILL! Make her let go of me!" She yelled, thrashing to get loose from Moxie's hold. But we all knew how useless that was. Everyone knew about Moxie's strengths. When she first arrived at the tower with Dylan, everything went to hell for several months because someone put butter on her pancakes by mistake. During that time, she gave no shits about anything, sort of like now, but she gives a little more shits than before.

Shaking my head, I turned to the others. "You all ready?"

"Will!" Emma snapped.

"Hell yeah!" A few of them yelled, just as eager to get rid of Blade as I was.
