Hey there my Super Readers!!! Finally, the next chapter! I do hope you all enjoy this one. Well, get reading!
Emma's POV
"Pass the sugar." I grumbled.
The little boy who was in the kitchen with me happily obliged. But once he handed me the pack of sugary goodness, he just looked up at me, staring with his brown eyes.
I dumped the sugar into my cereal and took a few bites before glaring at the child. Usually, I love kids. In fact, I absolutely adored them. But I woke up in Will's room feeling like crap, especially when I remembered that nightmare. So, I'm not in the best of moods.
"What?" I snapped.
The boy giggled. "Do you know my superpower?"
"Your power? Why would I? I don't even know you."
The boy laughed again, but this time he...transformed? Yeah, let's go with that.
He grew in size and became skinnier while growing a bust. His hair grew longer and turned from blonde to brown while his eyes turned from brown to blue. In other words, he was me.
"What the crap?" I gasped as I fell from my seat. "You- you're me! What the crap?!"
My clone who was once a boy began jumping around. "Look! I'm a pretty girl! I'm-" He froze and looked at his, well her, chest. "Woah, you have some big cans."
I jumped to my feet just as he began poking his chest. "Hey! Stop poking my boobs! How old are you, six?"
"Actually, yes I am."
I growled and was about to charge him before the kitchen door swung open to Will.
"Really Emma? How did you manage to trip on me five times?" Superman grumbled. "I mean really, you could have made sure that I was-"
He stopped talking when he saw me and my clone.
"Jacob, what are you doing?"
My clone shrugged. "Touching boobies."
I felt my face flush. What was wrong with this kid? Didn't he know what respect was?
"Jacob." Will sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Turn back and play somewhere else."
Jacob gave a disappointed sigh before turning back into himself and scampering off.
That kid has got some serious issues.
After growling once he left, I got back into my seat and continued to eat my breakfast.
"Well, you're up early." Will said as he took a seat across from me. "I guess the early bird gets the worm, huh."
I shrugged. "I usually-I used to wake up at this time because I'd sneak out from the orphanage and hang out with homeless people. I guess it's still a habbit."
"Homeless people? Why?"
I took a few more bites from my cereal. "Well, it all started when I was about nine. Miss Sarah finally got a television for us kids. So like the kid I was, I watched the thing all day. Well, Miss Sarah finally got tired of cartoons and changed it to the news channel. And that's when I saw it." I took another bite of my breakfast. "I saw Superman saving a damsel, Batman battling some clown, and Captain America traveling the world while using his shield for justice. But, I thought it was all a hoax while everyone believed it."
"But it wasn't a hoax." Will interrupted. "They were right to believe it."
I shrugged. "Well I know that now. Anyways, after watching that news report, I put my nine year old talents to use and sewed blankets for the homeless. They-"
