Well my Super Readers....that sounds sooooo cool and cute at the same time ^.^ so anyways, I hope y'all enjoyed the first chapter. Just a quick reminder, Superheroes exist in this book, so Superman is real, as well as Batman and Wonder Woman. THEY ALL EXIST. So don't get confused throughout the story, okays?
Emma's POV
Was I in a bed? What ever I was laying in was way softer than the bed I had at the orphanage.
Wait...
What the hell happened yesterday? I don't remember anything except for that weird dream I had. I'm most likely sick if I can't remember crap.
The shuffling of feet around me kept me from opening up my eyes. If I was in my bedroom, I'd sleep my "sickness" away.
"Do you think she's awake?" A masculine voice asked.
"Don't you see her eyes twitching? She's faking it!" A female voice replied. "She's trying to fool us."
Shit... At this rate these people will find out I'm awake and make me get out of bed. And there was no way in hell I was going to let that happen. So, in desperation, I began to fake snore.
"Yep," the female's voice said. "She's faking it."
Fuck... Well, let's see if the guy will notice.
"Yeah, I think your right," the masculine voice agreed.
Son of a bitch! No one can usually see past my fake snoring! How are these people so fucking intelligent?
"Can I flick her?" The female voice asked with a hopeful tone.
"No! We don't want to creep her out."
Sorry guy, but you guys already did. Now get out of my bedroom, I'm trying to sleep.
"Well she's sleeping in my bed, in my bedroom." The female voice countered.
Her bed? Her bedroom? Who does she think she is?!
My eyes snapped opened and I quickly sat up. "Your bedroom!?"
I flinched at the bright light that shimmered through a large window. Where was I? I could already tell that this wasn't my bedroom.
I looked down at what I was sitting up on and smiled. The fluffiest bed with the fluffiest blanket and pillows ever. My dream bed.
I looked around the room and took in everything. Sitting on a chair right across from me and the bed was some guy smiling at me. He had medium length blonde hair with stunning green eyes. His features were just, wow. He was one thousand times hotter than the average male.
Look at me getting all "calculus" up in this. When I bring in numbers, I'm obviously bored or crazy.
I giggled at my thoughts and continued to look around. Beside one side of the bed was a nightstand with a lamp that seemed to be covered with the design of a bird. On the other side was a dresser with a mirror. But there was no girl? Was I imagining her voice or was the guy talking to himself in some impersonation of a woman's voice?
"What's so funny?"
My head snapped back to the sexy guy who had a twinkle of amusement in his eyes.
I smiled. "Just my thoughts."
He laughed and leaned foward. "I'm glad your laughing. You didn't look so great last night. Are you okay?"
"Are you okay?"
My smile faded and my eyes widened. I knew his voice. Was he- Crap! did my dream really happen last night?
