Here comes a new chapter, my Super Readers!!! I got this one done tonight because I thought that you guys deserved it because of the short chapter yesterday! Please, when you're done reading this, check out the recommendation at the bottom!!!!
Rosie's POV
It's been two days since the night that Emma battled Godfrey, and I still haven't seen Trevor ever since he fell off the Tower. Sure, when he returned, I saw him out of the corner of my eye, but I could tell he needed alone time. But apparently Emma has talked to him, but she wouldn't tell me the details, for they were too "personal." For God's sake though, Trevor is like my brother! He should be able to tell me.
"Ugh! Will, did you forget the food for the party tonight?" Scott asked as his arms slithered around my waist.
Scott, Will, Emma, Dylan and I were standing in the kitchen, planning last minute details for the party taking place tonight. Moxie wasn't with us because she was tracking down Godfrey.
Classic Moxie, always tracking down the idiot of a villain.
"Of course I got the food! See!"
My brother threw open the cupboards with a smirk, but it quickly faded when the cupboards were completely empty.
"Ha! Well, looks like Superman isn't so super anymore!" Emma taunted, throwing her head back as she broke into fits of laughter.
"Emma, I swear to God-"
"Swear what?" She teased. "We both know you're not going to do anything."
"You-"
"Guys, just get a room already." Dylan said bluntly.
I chuckled when Emma fell off the counter she was sitting on and Will coughed uncontrollably.
Ah, love at the making. I honestly hope Scott and I were never like that.
"So what are we supposed to do for food?" Scott asked.
Dylan sighed. "Yeah Will, what are we going to do?"
"Well, I uh...I-"
"I'll go get some at the food market." I chimed in, saving my brother's ass.
"Rosie, I don't think-"
I slipped from Scott's arms, making my way to my brother and kissing him on the cheek. "It's fine, Will. I can take care of myself."
He didn't seem to believe that. Instead, he crossed his arms and looked down at me. "Remember if you get into trouble, just-"
"Scream as loud as I can so that you can hear." I finished.
"And-"
"Don't talk to strangers. I got it Will." I said, holding out my hand.
Sighing, Will placed some cash into my hand. I smiled and scurried to Scott, pecking him on the lips before walking out of the kitchen and into the elevator.
As I pressed the lobby button and the elevator doors began to close, Emma came barreling towards me.
"Wait for me! I want to come!"
I smiled and was about to hold the doors open until Will tackled her to the ground.
What. The. Hell?
"You're not going anywhere you piece of shit!" Dylan shouted. Pain was evident in his voice.
Holding the doors open, I peered my head back into the living room to get a better look. "What the hell happened?"
