Finally, another chapter. Sorry I haven't updated lately, but I've had some...problems... But, just go ahead and read my Super Readers. It's a pretty short paragraph, so I hope y'all enjoy.

Emma's POV

"And this hot chocolate goes to the lovely victor." Leo said as he handed me the thirst quenching drink.

I sighed after I took a sip from the heavenly beverage. "Leo, you're hot coco, it's amazing."

He smirked. "Well what do you expect? I set my flames at the right temperature just to get the milk to boil just right."

I giggled. "Well, like I said, it's amazing."

Leo smiled before walking off to give everyone else their drinks. I thought it was so sweet for them to bring out the heavenly drinks because I actually battled a villain and won. Usually at Miss Sarah's, I'd have to beg to even get a couple of Oreos. This was truly Heaven.

"Okay guys, we all know what I'm going to say, right?" Will called, stepping onto the coffee table with the biggest smile on his face. I had never seen him that happy before.

Everyone cheered and laughed, agreeing with Will. I stood from the couch so that I could get a better view.

"So let's just come out with the secret!" Will's eyes scanned the crowd before they landed on me, and his smile grew wider. "Emma, since you gained control of your ability pretty quickly, and you beat Godfrey, we are going to throw a party just for you in a couple of days."

Everyone cheered louder as I smiled. This was amazing. Because of Batman's pill, everything was going my way. It was like it was a pill of fortune. To bad The Dark Knight had to leave after giving me the medication. I'm pretty sure he would have been proud to see that his experiment had worked.

After Will's speech, everyone just chatted and congratulated me, slapping me on my back and giving me a thumbs up. But the only one who wasn't here was Trevor. Will never came back with him, and there's no way he could have fallen to his death. Trevor, he's so, Trevor, that's why he couldn't have died.

The elevator buzzed, opening it's doors and allowing a glum looking Trevor to walk out.

Speaking of the devil.

I smiled and placed my drink down. I had to talk to him, tell him how he had missed the action.

Trevor didn't stop walking for the little get together, he just continued down the hall. So I followed him, until I was right behind him, placing my hand in his shoulder.

He spun to face me. "What?" He snapped.

I flinched and quickly withdrew my hand. "Trevor?"

His face softened. "Why hello my princess. How are you this evening?"

"Are you okay?" I asked, ignoring his question.

"Why princess, I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." He said, feigning happiness. I could see through it though.

"Cut the crap, Trevor. Tell me what's wrong."

Trevor's face suddenly contorted into sadness. I just wanted to comfort and hug him. It just looked so weird with him not showing his usual quirkiness.

"Emma... What would you do if you had to protect the people you love, but I order to do that you had to do something very, very bad."

I cocked my head. "Where is this question coming from?"

He looked down at his feet. "Just please answer the question."

I gave a small smile. "I'd do whatever felt right."

"And what would feel right to you?"

I stared at Trevor for a moment. Something was wrong. He had to have saw something when he was gone. But what?

"I'd help the ones I love because they're my family."

"Even if it means hurting others you don't know?"

I reached for him, but he took a cautious step back. What happened to him?

"Trevor, what happened to you after you fell?"

He met my eyes, and that's when I noticed. His eyes were glazed with unshed tears.

"I'm stuck at a fork in the road, and I don't know what path to take."

"Trevor-"

"Another time princess." He said, interrupting while turning his back on me and walking down the hall. "Maybe when the time is right, I'll pick which path to take, and I'll tell you which one I chose."

He disappeared into a room which I presumed was his.

Sighing, I walked back to the living room and joined everyone else. But little did I know that this night would be the turning point where everything went wrong.

Everything turned for the worse on the night of December Third, when I had battled Godfrey and Trevor returned, not knowing what path to take.

I know my Super Readers, it's short and bad. But I didn't have any inspiration...especially today because I cried over something that I should've seen coming. Honestly, why do I even try? Well anyways, vote, comment, and share. TATA my Super Readers.
