As she looked at the text message, she couldn't help but notice the image she had set as her wallpaper. It was her, Ash, Goh, and all their Alolan friends.
Serena hadn't come, she thought. Thank goodness!
She could nearly feel what had happened on that day now...
Y/N's Memory
"You mean it, Professor? We're going to Alola?" said Goh.
"Really? Isn't that where Gladion and Lillie were from?" asked Y/N.
"Yeah," replied Ash. "Hey, Y/N, you've been to Alola before, right?"
"Mm hm." said Y/N in response.
"You probably know the best places and everything, don't you?" he said. "Is there anywhere we should go?"
Take the hint, he thought. Please, Y/N.
"Well, Treasure Island is a good place. I have a book with the same name. There are Alolan Exeggutor there. You should come, Goh." she added.
Ash sighed.
Did she just not like him back, or did she just not want Goh to be excluded?
Although Y/N didn't, Goh did.
"Oh, you two should go alone. I still need to catch another Exeggutor. Just go ahead." he said, winking at Ash.
"Wish Chloe could come," Ash heard him mutter. "Too bad she's got school."
Ash wanted to help Goh too, as a thanks, but there wasn't much he could do at the moment.
-------------------------------------At Alola----------------------------------------
"I have some friends I want to introduce you both to." said Ash. "Come on, let's go to the school."
"Hang on, I think I see an Exeggutor." said Goh, looking interested. "I'll meet you guys there."
"Do you even know where you're going?" hollered Ash, but Goh was already off.
"Alright then," smiled Y/N. "Where is this school of yours?"
"I'll show you!"
He took her hand, and ran off, Y/N directly behind him.
"Do you even know where you're going?" yelled Y/N, barely keeping up with him.
He grinned back.
"You'll see, Y/N!"
He brought her up to an Alolan-style building, with a green haired girl standing there.
"Alola, Ash!" she greeted. She then noticed Y/N.
"Who's this?" she asked. "Your girlfriend?"
Ash flushed, but Y/N merely looked courteous.
"No, I'm his friend," she smiled. "I'm Y/N L/N, nice to meet you. I'm from Wedgehurst, in Galar."
"Oh, hi there!" she smiled back. "Well, I'm Mallow, and this is Melemele Island, if Ash hadn't told you before. I hope you enjoy your visit to Alola!"
"Yeah, thanks Mallow." interrupted Ash. "So, where are the others?"
"Lana's off fishing," replied Mallow. "Kiawe's battling, Sophocles is preparing your party, and Lillie's just sent a letter!"
"Cool! Oh, and have you seen Goh?"
"Who's Goh?"
"You know, Goh. Weird tuft of black hair up here, has a Raboot-"
"What's a Raboot?"
"Oh, never mind," sighed Y/N. "Let's just go look for him."
----------------------------------Meanwhile---------------------------------
"Say, where's Ash and Y/N..." muttered Goh.
He slipped on a stone and tumbled down into the water. He spluttered and choked within the lake.
"Wow! It's a whopper!"
Just then, he felt himself being pulled up by a fishing rod.
"Alola!"
A girl with short blue hair greeted him.
"Um, I'd like to be put down, thanks." said Goh scornfully.
---------------------------------A few minutes later--------------------------
"So you're trying to find your friends?" asked Lana.
"Yeah. Do you know where they are?"
"I have a vague idea," smiled Lana.
They walked down a winding path, where Ash and Y/N were.
She remembered Kiawe challenging Goh to a battle; a battle in which he lost. Y/N beat Kiawe with her Gigantamax Pokemon, which greatly intrigued the others, as they had never seen Gigatamax.
"So," said Ash hopefully. "Do you want to go to Treasure Island? Y/N?"
"Sure!" she replied. "I'll go get Goh."
"No need!" said Goh quickly. "I'll catch Pokemon! I still haven't caught any yet."
"Fine by me," said Y/N.
"Come on," he smiled. "I'll show you the way. You'll love it."
Cliffhanger!
