The troupe finally arrived at Os Alta where the winter fete will take place. Half of the crow not seen with their flock.
"That one is our invitation to perform, signed by the Queen." Marko boasted to the first army guarding the entrance to the palace.
"You are being employed by the Queen. You are not her guests. You are to stay together as a group, at all times. No guns, no knives, no weapons of any kind. Punishment for violation of these crimes ranges from being fired to being fired upon."
Marko clenched the papers scared by the man's words while Inej and Jesper look bored out of their minds, missing the bickerings often brought by Senia and Jesper himself.
A commotion started when some man started to yell that he wanted to see the Sun Summoner. The man was grabbed by a couple of the palace guards.
"Do we really need the entire corps for just one man? The rest of you, post up now."
At that moment Jesper saw a familiar face clad in strange clothes winked at him. This girl.

Kaz and the others are together again. "Here's the plan."
"I'll walk the route our target will take from the ballroom to the dinner event and look for an ambush point."
"You should have one of us with you." Inej worriedly said, shaking her head slightly for Kaz's proposal to walk the halls alone.
"I'll manage."
"No. I'll go with him, see if I can ease the pain every time it hurts. It's the least I can do for not being able to fully heal you yet." Senia offered to Kaz with a smile that got her a nod.
Kaz and Senia walked the halls of the palace side by side. Senia continuously looking at the small version of their map clad in her soft hands.
"Do you even understand it?" Kaz asked looking at her amusedly.
"For real? No." Senia sighed and averted her eyes fron the map, giving up.
Their walk was stopped when Kaz leaned onto the door beside him holding his legs in pain.
Senia looked at Kaz to see the hurt on his face and sweat rolling down his neck. "Stay still."
