Paige's P.O.V.

"Okay, I know where you're going!" I told Katie excitedly.

"What? Where? How?"

"Yeah, not telling you. It's still a surprise."

"Damn. Can you choose my outfit though?"

"I thought you would never ask" I giggled.

I dressed Katie in a tight fitting black dress that was quite short with a green cropped jumper with black tights and high tops.

I gave her smokey eyes and light pink lips and braided flowers into her hair like a crown.

"Knock 'em dead" I smiled. "And don't do anything I wouldn't do!" I laughed. "On second thought, don't do anything 12+. Lets keep it PG." Katie blushed.

"Oh my gods PAIGE!" She shrieked.

"Joking!" I laughed.

"Okay, I gotta go" Katie said glancing at her watch.

We walked out of the Aphrodite cabin and found Connor and Travis sitting on the steps of the Hermes cabin.

Travis turned as soon as he saw Katie. His eyes seemed to shine brighter when he saw her. His mouth turned up at the corners into a shy smile.

I felt a sharp pang in my chest as I remembered what Chiron had said.

'Demigods don't tend to live that long.' If anyone deserved to have a long happy life, it was Travis and Katie.

Travis got up and kissed Katie on the cheek before both of them left, leaving me and Connor alone.

I sat down on the step next to Connor.

"So what are you gunna do now that your missing your other half?" I asked nudging him in the side with my elbow.

"Dunno, might watch a movie" he shrugged.

"Can I watch?" I asked. I hadn't really had much time to hang out with Connor since I moved into the Aphrodite cabin, so I was hoping we could now.

"Sure, but no chick flicks."

I made a face. Why do all boys assume girls love watching chick flicks?

"Eugh, no, I hate chick flicks, they are so boring! Transformers marathon?" I asked batting my eyelashes. Transformers was my favourite. Dark of the moon was the best.

"Sure" Connor said finally.

"I've got the DVDs in my cabin. Meet you back here in 5?"

"Hurry up!" He shouted as I made my way back to my cabin.

We were snuggled up on Connors bed under the covers, with Connors laptop on his lap and transformers 2 playing on the screen.

We were eating some sweets from Connors trunk, that has probably been stolen.

"Connor?" I asked sleepily.

"Mmm?" He replied, barely conscious.

"Is it bad to like two people at once? I mean, what would that say about your mental state?" I asked randomly.

I don't know why I said it. It just kind of slipped out.

Connor just gave me an odd look.

"As long as you don't act on it, you're fine. But you will have to choose eventually."

"When did you get so good at relationship advice? Are you sure you aren't a child of Aphrodite?" I giggled.

"That would be painful." Connor said.

"Are we really that bad?" I asked jokingly.

"Not you Mathews"

I rested my head on his shoulder as I felt myself falling asleep. I breathed in his scent of vanilla and candyfloss and my eyes fluttered shut.

Just before I fell asleep, I felt his warm arms wrap around my waist.
