Paige's P.O.V.

Today I had archery practice. Not only did I suck at archery, Derek was the instructor so I was suckish in front of him. There goes my dream of being the next katniss everdeen.

Although, being bad at archery did mean I had extra lessons with Derek, so I wasn't complaining.

I was no closer to finding out what Aphrodite meant about there being something special about me.

I was in my cabin, putting away my archery things. Everyone else had already gone to lunch, when I heard a soft knock on the door.

Derek was stood there, leaning against the door frame, looking sexy as ever.

"Took your time." I smile teasingly.

"Well, if you want me to-" I cut him off as I pulled him in and shut the door; then brought my mouth to meet his.

He immediately responded by wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me closer.

We continued kissing, blindly stumbling backwards until we hit the bed and fell back onto it. I laughed against his mouth as I leaned back, him on top of me.

He leant down and kissed me slowly and passionately. I had my hands threaded through his hair.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Come on lovebirds. Don't think I didn't notice. If you don't get to lunch in the next few seconds, I'm coming in." Piper said through the door.

I sighed and glanced at Derek who was looking utterly terrified.

I disentangled my self from him and ran to the door, blushing.

"Piper, couldn't you just have let it be?" I whined.

"Where's the fun in that?" Piper smirked and swaggered off back to the dining pavilion.

I turned back to Derek.

"Sorry about that."

Derek came over and pulled me close, brushing his hand across my cheek, making me feel warm inside.

He kissed me lightly on the lips. Long and soft.

"Come on. Lets go to lunch."

Anyway, the next chapter is where things start to get interesting!!
