Chapter 35

Connor's P.O.V.

We were completely overun by monsters.

It could have been a trap, but there were way to many monsters here for just three demigods. It looked like we had accidentally stumbled upon an army.

I quickly sent travis back to get help. There was no way we could destroy all these monsters by ourselves.

I slashed and jabbed with my sword, cutting down one after another.

I kicked down a dracanae and used its body to flip up over the crowd and take down several telkhines as I landed.

I turned to see how paige was doing and was surprised to see she was doing well.

She had defeated at least two dozen monsters and has just sent an emposa screaming back to tartarus.

She flashed me a cocky grin. I tried to yell out to her, to move, but she couldn't hear me over the hoardes of monsters.

A dark figure loomed up behind her. I recognised him from the battle of Manhattan as Hyperion the titan.

Icy cold fear shot through me at the memory of him and kronos.

The next few minutes passed in a blur. I remember paige falling to the ground and me screaming her name.

I had somehow gotten over to her and pressed the button on her wrist and mine, thinking of camp.

We dissapeared into a blinding flash of light. The breath seemed to completely leave my stomach and I felt like lasagne in the microwave.

The last thing I remember before passing out, was that we were not at camp half blood.
