Paige's P.O.V.
As soon as I was out of sight, I started sprinting for the boundary line. I ducked through trees, jumped over boulders and occasionally the odd camper.
Just as I saw the creek, I heard a rumble and saw percy and Annabeth sprinting forward from the other direction, carrying our flag.
We locked eyes but it was too late. With one quick motion, I leaped over the creak and the horn blew signalling the end of the game.
We had won! And victory felt great. I turned and saw Connor jogging up behind me.
"You actually did it Mathews! I honestly thought you would get killed out there."
"Have a little faith" I replied smirking.
"Why is he so happy anyway? He lost!" Connor asked, turning to look at Derek.
"Uh, I dunno" I replied blushing.
"How did you get past him anyway?" Connor asked, making me blush deeper.
"Oh, you know, my epic sword fighting skills!"
Suddenly, a bright light appeared over my head and all the campers turned and stared. I had been claimed.
So, who do think her godly parent is??
