Chapter 24.

Connor's P.O.V.

Seeing Paige and Derek together seemed to make my blood boil for an unknown reason.

I grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her out of hearing range of Derek.

"What do you think your doing?!" I ask.

"Nothing, what's got your knickers in a twist?"

"What are you doing out here in the middle of the night? Don't you know what will happen if the cleaning harpies catch you?"

"What are YOU doing out here then?" Paige asked curiously. She had a point there.

"Don't change the subject. What are you doing out here?"

"Derek was just showing me something." Paige said innocently.

"Oh I bet he was" I remarked sarcastically, feeling a shudder of annoyance at the thought of Derek.

"What's that supposed to mean?" She replied annoyed.

"Nothing. What happened to 'I'm tired, I'll tell you in the morning'? If you didn't want to tell me, you should have just said. You didn't have to lie to me!" I demanded, my fists clenching, feeling anger boil up inside me.

"No, it's not like that, I was... I am... Derek was just-"

"Save it." I cut in. "Go make out with Derek. I'm sure that's what you were doing anyway." I snapped.

"Maybe I will!" She replied, clearly annoyed. Her British accent sounding thicker.

"Fine!" I snapped.

"Good" she replied before stomping off back towards Derek.

I cursed loudly before making my way back to the cabins.

Paige's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe how rude and annoying Connor was being! I had tried to explain that Derek had just turned up out of the blue but he didn't even let me start! He made me so angry sometimes that I felt like punching him in the face! If he wanted me to get with Derek, then I would.

"What was that all about?" Derek asked as I approached him.

I cut him off by pressing my lips to his.

He seemed surprised at first, but then responded by wrapping his strong arms around my waist, pulling me closer.

I gasped against his lips, running my hands through his hair.

His hands traced patterns on the skin under my pajama top, sending shivers up and down my spine.

Finally, I pulled away, gasping for air.

"I'll take that as a yes then?" Derek asked breathlessly.

"Yes" I replied, glancing over his shoulder to see Connors reaction. But he was already gone.
