Chapter 6.

Paige's P.O.V.

"Why do people keep saying that! It doesn't literally mean Half God does it?"

Chiron looked at Shaun then back at me.

"Does that mean I'm like Jesus! Cuz I'm like the most unreligious person there is!" I almost shouted. Things were getting way too weird.

"No." Chiron said. "You are part Greek god or goddess. Which parent are you missing?"

I looked at Chiron like he was crazy. And judging from what he was telling me, he probably was.

"What the hell are you talking about! I'm pretty sure I have both my parents, unless you are hiding one of them in your basement!" They were really starting to freak me out!

"In order for you to be a demigod, one of your parents must be a Greek god/goddess. It is possible that both your parents were halfbloods, but they don't tend to live very long. Especially in the mortal world. So it is unlikely that's the case."

This didn't make any sense. I knew both my parents. As annoying and rude as they were, they were still my parents.

"Well maybe I'm not a demigod then!" I say. Although, something deep inside of me knew it wasn't true. That I was a demigod.

"No, you definitely are." It was Shaun that had spoken. I had almost forgotten he was there. "If you weren't, you wouldn't have seen my legs, and you definitely wouldn't have gotten through the barrier. The dragon would probably have eaten you." He said with a smile on this face that made me have to refrain myself from punching him.

"But it doesn't make any sense," I argued. " I look like both my parents!" It's true, I did. I had my dads light brown hair, and my mums green eyes.

"Probably a trick of the mist. Put on you by whoever your godly parent is." I was about to ask what 'mist' was, but now didn't really seem like the right time.

"Ok, so I'm a demigod, your a horse and he's a sheep" I say, pointing to Shaun."

"Goat!" He replied sharply.

"Whatever!" I answered. "Anything else I need to know?" I asked sarcastically.

"You will be staying in the Hermes cabin until you are claimed by your godly parent, which should happen in the next few days. I'll have Katie Gardner show you round."

And with that, I was lead out of the house.
