Chapter 10: The Bullies Plan

The next day of classes, Maddy would try to talk to Zeke but Zeke would still avoid her. At lunch, the bullies sat together and chatted while Zeke was getting lunch. "You know guys, we still need to meet up with Mr. Facilier and his new friend he's been telling us about tonight. We still haven't thought of a plan," Becca said. "Yeah Boris, oink oink, what will our plan be?" Herbert snorted. "That's the problem! We haven't gotten one. If we don't have one by tonight, Mr. Facilier will definitely be disappointed in us or worse," Boris said as the bullies held their throats. "By the way has anyone seen Zoey? She was supposed to meet with us," Becca said. "Good question, Bec. Haven't seen her either," Boris said sipping some root beer. Meanwhile, Zoey was doodling in her notebook. Now Zoey never told her crew this, but Zoey had a crush on Zeke as well. So she kept doodling hearts and stuff of her and Zeke together. Suddenly, she heard footsteps and closed her book. She turned around and noticed Becca lighting a cigarette. "Sacré bleu Becca! I told you not to sneak up on me like that!" Zoey said. Just then, the other bullies joined Becca. Zoey gulped. "Say, oink oink, what's that?" Herbert said pointing to Zoey's notebook. Before Zoey could grab it, Boris got to it first. Then Becca took it from Boris. She flipped through the notes and started belly laughing. Zoey got embarrassed. "What's so funny?!" Boris asked Becca and took the notebook from her while Becca was still laughing. He looked at the notebook along with Herbert and they both started belly laughing, too. Zoey took the notebook back. Just then the vice principal, Felix the cat, walked up to them while checking out the students at lunch. Becca poked Boris then Boris saw Felix and shut up. Herbert was still oinking like crazy. "Mr. Pig, what seems to be the joke here?" asked Felix. When Herbert saw Felix staring down at him, he stopped laughing. "We were just...studying with Zoey! Right Zoey?" Boris elbowed her. Zoey was silent. "Right Zoey?!" Boris said motioning her to play along. Felix looked at Zoey who looked at Felix with puppy dog eyes. "Miss Luc? Care to explain?" Felix asked Zoey. Zoey rubbed her shoulder as all eyes were on her. "It's nothing sir. We were just studying," Zoey frowned. "Hmph. Alrighty then! I don't have time to deal with this. Enjoy your day!" Felix said and walked away. As Felix disappeared, the bullies looked at Zoey. "Secret place! Now!" Boris said as everyone followed except Zeke who was too busy playing basketball outside.

They arrived in the janitor's closet which was their secret place for secret meetings. "I call this meeting to order because someone in this group is betraying us!" Boris yelled. "Oink oink! Dropping us like bloody flies!" Herbert snorted. Becca grabbed the notebook again and opened it to a page where it said Zeke + Zoey and put her cigarette out on it. She threw the notebook back to Zoey. Everyone looked at Zoey with angry expressions. "I know! I know! We can't fall in love in this group. But Zeke is so..." Zoey said. "Dreamy?" Becca interrupted. "Cute?" Boris said after Becca. "Oink oink! Bloody adorable?" Herbert snorted. "Mr. Facilier won't be happy about this and it's all thanks to Zoey," Boris grunted. "And still no plan. Zoey ruined it," Becca said. They started laughing as Zoey stood her ground. "So what if I have a crush on someone! It doesn't make me any different! I'm still the same!" Zoey said. Her friends started belly laughing at her speech. Zoey got so upset that she stormed out of the janitor's closet. "Zoey will never learn," Becca said. "Unless she learns from us," Herbert snorted. That gave Boris an idea. "You know what? You're right Herbert my friend!" Boris said. "What are you talking about?" Becca asked Boris. Boris smiled sinisterly, "I think I have a plan for Mr. Facilier," he said. Then Boris started to sing as Becca and Herbert followed:

They thought we were defeated...
But very soon we'll see
The shock as we rise up from the flames
So triumphantly
I never thought we've had this chance
It's our time to shine
A glorious opportunity
And impress our boss seriously

Herbert:

Boris:
Follow my lead, that's all you need
Yes I have a plan
Boris:
Listen,
We ask Zoey to pretend to be Zeke's girlfriend and then soon you will see
The love that connects them will be our path to victory!
Then that ice princess will get jealous
Run right into the trap
With the help of Zeke we will put our faces
Right on the freakin' map!

Herbert:
That's what we'll do
Boris:

Becca:

Boris:

Herbert:
And lots of steam!
Boris:

Yes, I have a plan!
Becca nodded. "I like where this is going," she said slyly. "We must tell Mr. Facilier at once!" Herbert said. "But what about Zoey and Zeke?" Herbert asked. "Don't worry, we'll text them! I got that covered!" Becca said as she texted them.
