Nightmare's POV months later
"Hey Nightmare! Long time no see! How has it been going?"a voice shouts
I look over to see Catra running over, smiling when I came out to grab the mail.
"Oh, hey Catra! It's been go-woah!"I reply, yelping when she pounced at me
"Scorpia has surely made an impression on her. They've both been huggers lately."Adora says, coming over
I chuckle.
"What have you guys been up to?"I ask
"A little something called keeping Entrapta out of trouble. She's trying to make a portal home."Adora says
There was the sound of something exploding and a squeal.
"I'll go handle it!"She says, running off
Catra looks at me with a grin.
"Do ya live here alone?"She asks, noticing the house that I came out of
"Well, no-"I begin
"Nighty, how much mail is the-Oh hello."Killsy says
I look to see him coming outside and has a big grin on.
"Oh, hey Kim. Are you Nightmare's housemate or something?"Catra asks
"I'm more than that. I'm Nightmare's partner."He says proudly, holding me close
"Ah, so you're the lover people talk about!"Catra says
"Mhm.~ It's kinda hard for me not to fall for adorable Nighty here! No matter the world!"He says
"Ki-!"I begin, my face burning
"Shhhh, shhhhh, don't deny it.~"He coos

"Gah! Catra! She found shiny new tech again!"Adora shouts
"I'm coming! Talk to you some other time Nightmare!"Catra says, running off to stop Entrapta
Killsy pulls me back inside. I look at him and he scoops me up, skipping around the house.
"What are you do-"I begin but he shushes me again
He leaps into bed, pulling up the covers and snuggling me.
"You left snuggies and now must face the consequences."He says
"Any word from everyone else?"I ask
"No, not really."He says
"Not even the kids?"I ask
"Nope, just relax. It will be okay."He says
"Everything was safe when you left right?"I ask
"Relax, everything is fine. And Ghastly and the others have shown that they can handle themselves."He says
