Chapter 46:Islands and Tribes

Weeks later, Suave's POV(For the first time in forever-)

I walk out of the house after cleaning another one of Jasper's messes that he made on purpose. I smile. It is night now. The sky is beautiful out. All these stars and everything full moon. Luckily it wasn't a blood moon since then Encre and I would have to explain to over a dozen people what happens and not have much of a place to hide when M'Lords lose control. Sure, there's an open ocean out around us, but Jasper is a really good swimmer. Fallacy, not so much but a small vampire child who is a speedy swimmer and under the influence of a blood moon does NOT mean anything good. But there's no blood moon tonight. 

Everyone is scattered around the raft doing their own thing. From stargazing to swimming or just sitting and talking, there are a range of activities. Some were still inside and everyone was happy. I check and see that the Naughty Raft was still anchored in place with its one person-PJ-on it. Science just got taken off it yesterday. 

Encre comes out with a special canvas and some paints.

"What are you doing?"I ask

"E!Pap made a request for his book of memories. He says with all the things he has kept track of, surely it would be nice to put some good memories in it."He says

"Ah, and what's this request?"I ask

"To paint our friends and the families forming."He says

"Um....I don't think that canvas or any canvas will fit in a book."I say

"This is a special canvas. See these lines?"He says, pointing to lines along the canvas

I nod.

"These with a simple push can break part of it from the rest. So I can make a bunch of smaller paintings with one canvas. So, it can fit."He says

"That is really clever."I say

He smiles.

"But don't tell anyone. E!Pap wants to surprise everyone. But he made sure they were set up together."He says

I nod.

He looks up. He shuts an eye, signaling that he is focusing and wondering if he could paint something that he is focussing on at some point. He is looking at the sky.

"Beautiful night and sky, isn't it? Shino did great with it."He says

I look up and nod.

"Yeah."I say

I look at him and then smirk. I see Fallacy behind him at a good distance. Once he spots Encre, his face gets a yellow glow and he gets a thinking look in his gaze while putting a hand near his face. It was a loving gaze at Encre.

"Well I'm sure someone might have just found you as a better sight."I say politely, knowing M'Lord and how he feels to Encre

Encre's face gets a rainbow shade around the cheeks. His gaze focuses on me. M'Lord was shooting me a glare, not knowing the details of our interaction.

"Who?"He asks cluelessly

"M'Lord of course."I say

He smiles.

"He's behind me again, isn't he?"He asks

I nod.

"And telling by the drawings in your sketchbook that Jasper showed me, you find him as quite the nice sight as well."I say

His face gets brighter.

"I hope you took it from him."He says

I nod.
