[Link POV]
Did Rhett just seriously leave me alone with her??? Is he trying to get me to ask her out??? She looked at her paper and up at me, confused.
"Dude, I have no clue what this means?!" She said. she's cute when she's clueless. I smiled.
" you'll catch on" I encouraged. I explained to her how to do the problem, and we switched back and forth answering the questions on the paper. We finished before everyone so we talked the rest of the class.
" Hey did you ever remember what you were gonna ask me?" She asked. Nows my chance.
"Yeah actually..."
"Well what was it?"
"Emily?"
"Yeah?"
" Would you like to ... um... be my girlfriend?" She looked me in the eyes and smiled.
" Really? Yes!"
Rhett clapped and we looked over at him. He must've been listening. We looked back at eachother and laughed. The bell then rang and we held hands all the way to science.
I didn't pay attention much in science, the words
' Emily Namont is my girlfriend'
Kept replaying in my head.
