[Rhett POV]
My eyes shot open. I saw trees above me and I was moving. I realized I was being carried... bridal style.. by Max. I attempted to squirm out of his arms but he tightened his grip and my arms and legs were tied up.
" what the hell do you want?" I asked irritated.
"Jake wants to see you." he said keeping his eyes in front of him, smiling. I rolled my eyes and kept squirming.
We came out into an opening. I turned my head to my right, facing the middle of the meadow.
Jake, Isaac, and Chris had just ran into the woods on the opposite side. Max sighed. He put me down and untied my feet sitting on my inner knees, my face centimeters from the ground. A minute later my hands were untied as well and I was stood up with my hands still held behind my back.
' maybe I could pull an Emily?' I thought contemplating my escape.
' it probably wouldn't work there's no one around' I doubted myself. 'eh, worth a shot.'
" HELP!" I yelled. Max put a hand over my mouth and I pulled my arms away. I put my hand on his neck and squeezed the sides of his neck, finding a pulse. It was a pressure point I learned from Link (A/N: Katie/bæ) a while back. I pushed down on his neck and lowered him to the ground.
I tied him up as he did to me and ran left around the perimeter.
