Chapter 34

[Link POV]
I go to my music app and put on my panic at the disco playlist.
" I didn't really listen to the songs I just made the playlist" I said rubbing the back of my neck.
" It's okay if you don't like the songs, if you want we don't have to listen to them." She suggests." I didn't even listen to them yet so I can't judge" I said.
"True" she says.
I put the playlist on shuffle.

' this is gospel for the fallen ones
locked away in permanent slumber...'

The song starts.
" Oh my god this is my favorite song by them!!!!!" She squeals.
" What's your second favorite song?"
"Well it's my first favorite actually but not by panic at the disco. It's
Nina by Ed Sheeran" She said.
" Who's Ed Sheeran?" I asked.
" Wow instant mood change!!" I said laughing. Her facial expression went from happy to serious instantly.
" You don't know who Ed Sheeran is???" She asked.
" Well I've heard of him, but you know I've never heard his music" I said. She sighed loudly and pulled out her phone.
" So you don't know this song?"

'When your legs don't work like they used to before
And I can't sweep you off of your feet
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love?
Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?'

" Oh I've heard that song before... he sings that?" I asked.
" Uh yeah" she said and stood up reaching out her hand.
" May I have this dance?" She giggled. I looked up towards the sky.
" Can we wait till it gets a little darker... I have one more thing planned." She frowned slightly and sat back down. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and she hugged my waist.
" What time is it anyway?" She asked.
I picked up my phone " 5:19" I said.
" wow! Well what time were you planning your surprise?" She asked.
" 7ish, when it's darker" I said.
" What are we gonna do for two hours??" She asked looking at me.
" Um...I didn't plan this very well." I admitted.
