Rhett and I walked out of the school and waited for Emily at the bench. She came over smiling.
" why are you smiling?" Rhett asked.
" I'm smiling because Jake and his friends were arrested for kidnapping us and Jake is going to a juvenile center for stabbing Link" She kept smiling and sat next to me. I put my arm around her shoulder.
" Why can't this happen more often?" I asked.
"What?" They said in unison.
" this!" I said.
"What do you mean by this?" Emily asked.
" This as in us just being able to be happy without being interupted by a jackass!" I said.
Emily put her head on my shoulder and I kissed the top of her head.
" My mom's here" Rhett said, I totally forgot he was there.
" See you tomorrow" Emily and I said.
Emily looked up at me and smiled.
" What?" I asked.
" This is perfect" she said.
" You know what else is perfect?"
" What?
" You" I said and kissed her. She kissed me back. We stayed like that for a couple seconds then,
*honk,honk*
We looked up to see her dad and my mom's car a couple feet away. I stood up and held out my arm for her. She took it and stood up. She pointed up her index finger to her dad indicating ' one second '. She turned to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. I pulled her into a hug. She backed away and walked to her dad's car and I went to my mom's.
