====SEBASTIAN====

Things between Undertaker and myself didn't get too bad, and I honestly don't wish to discuss it. I will say that I had to stop due to my young master's voice in the back of my head, ordering me to return to the manor.

I left at least somewhat satisfied, though not nearly enough as I would have hoped to be. I had gotten a few answers, but I would have liked to know much more. When I return to the manor, I get my young master prepared for and into bed before going up to check on Lady McKenzie.

I lightly knock on the door and await for some answer, but I get nothing, and assume she's asleep. I slowly open the door and I end up taking a step back in pure shock at what I see on the other side of the door.

Mirrors and picture glass is shattered all over, pillow feathers are scattered around, and the ground is cloaked in what seems to be a few layers of glass shards, feathers, and small... puddles? However, my eyes stop on the worst of it all: Lady McKenzie's body laying on the floor in a pool of bright red blood.

"Lady McKenzie!" I call out as I run to her. I look into her face and see streaks of both blood and tears, and her eyes are closed. I then look over her body and see small shards of glass poking out of her sking and dress, her knuckles are blood red, and blood stains just about everything: smudges on her face, stains on her dress, streaks in her hair, and even a puddle on the floor beneath and around her. All from her small body.

"Lady McKenzie," I repeat, lifting her up slightly into my arms. Her eyes open slowly and only slightly. She opens her mouth to speak, but next to nothing comes out and she winces in pain. She then tries to move, causing her to then gasp and cry out. I do my best to calm her and keep her still.

"Shh.. Don't move, Lady McKenzie," I say as gently as I can. "I'll take care of you. Don't worry." New tears roll down her dirtied cheeks and I remember how much blood she has lost and is still losing. Far too much for someone her size, even if she is part reaper now. Because she is still mostly human, her life is still just as fragile as one and can die easily. I very slowly and carefully pick her up in my arms and carry her to the bathroom.

There, I lay her on the ground gingerly and get a warm, damp, and very soft wash cloth to first clean her hands and wrap them to stop the bleeding. I had been gone quite a while, so this most likely happened a while ago, however the blood just didn't stop. Hopefully, though, the wrappings will make it stop. Afterwards, I begin to clean the drying blood out of Lady McKenzie's hair. After that, I remove my gloves and wash my hands before carefully removing all of the larger pieces of glass from her skin, until I get down to the shards that are invisible to the human eye, but ust barely visible to a demon's eye.

~~~
I had spent over three hours on her legs alone, and soon check my pocketwatch to see that it's been around ten hours since I came back to the manor to find Lady McKenzie like this. I know I must bathe her skin in warm water to make it easier for the smaller shards of glass, but I also know I must undress her to do so, which I contemplate for yet another ten minutes or so before sighing deeply.
"Please forgive me, Lady McKenzie," I murmur before unzipping her dress. I close my eyes as I pull it off of her. I truly don't wish to do this to her, but I know it's for her safety. And that's what I'm here for: to keep Lady McKenzie safe. And also to keep my eyes firmly shut.
((A/N: This probably would have been up about an hour ago, but I found part 1 of Book of Murder, and I had to watch it. Finny crying outside after talking made me cry, I'll tell you that. Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and I'll see you all next time! I love you all!))
