====MCKENZIE====
I know I really didn't like school at all back at home, but this is Reaping school! I'm going to be a Grim Reaper! And none of the jerks that I used to go to school with are the same! This is absolutely fantastic.
I finally make it to the lunch room and get my food. The food court looks great and the food is amazing. They don't have nothing-but-completely-healthy food that also tastes absolutely disgusting all because of our president's wife.
I finally get everything I want to eat and head back to where Ronald is sitting with his food. He began telling me about all of these things that he experienced and everything, and I couldn't help but laugh at a lot of the things. I then kicked him under the table when he winked at one of the lady workers. He was such a dork at times, though, but I couldn't ask for a better friend.
Before long, we finish our food and the sound of a bell echoes throughout the entire school, and I know it's the bell from outside that signals the end of the classes. Ronald and I throw our things away and head to my next class, Reapestry.
~~~
When we arrive there, the Professor isn't in there as everyone else also files into the room, so I just sit there quietly in my seat while everyone else starts talking.
"Welcome, students, to Reapestry," I hear. I instantly freeze in my spot at the voice. It can't be... But it is.
I soon feel his hand on my shoulder and his breath against my ear as he speaks, "I just love your hair color." My breath catches in my throat, and Adrien's hand soon leaves. I want it back, but I knew it couldn't come back. When he stands at the front of his desk, I can only stare at him. What on earth was he doing here? Even though his eyes are covered, I just know he's looking at me. Hell, I've lived with the man for a rather long time, so I know where's he's looking.
Adrien then turns around and grabs a paper from his desk, then looks it over, and back up at everyone else.
"My, my. Hehehe, what a lovely class this is," Adrien says. I smile very slightly. "Well, Will says to privately interview you all, so let's start. I'll call one of you to follow me into another room and we'll start so I can get to know you better. Apparently this is what we're going to be doing for this time, and because of it, this class will be a little longer," Adrien says. Of course. How ironic. However, I definitely won't complain about it. Adrien then calls on a recruit and they leave the room.
I start doodling on some papers and soon hear Ronald's voice next to me. "Did you know he was coming?" he asks. I shake my head.
"Not at all. He never said anything to me about it," I say. I then start thinking. Adrien already knows me a lot, so it would be pointless for him to call on me. I slump down in my chair and continue with my stupid doodle. I see the one recruit come back and then get another one to go back.
~~~
The last person had now been called, and I now understand that I more than likely won't be called on to get interviewed.
Then there's a tap on my shoulder, and I look up to see the last person who had been interviewed.
"Your turn," he said before walking back to his seat. I nod and get up. So I actually am going to be interviewed?
When I approach the room, I give a small knock and push the door open. There Adrien was siting in the large swivel chair.
"Ah, the final recruit," Adrien says. I laugh and close the door before walking over to him. Screw the chair across from him. I sit in his lap sideways and wrap my arms around his neck. His hands go around my waist.
"Hello, darling," I say. "I have a question for you."
"Ask away, love," he said, smiling softly. I brush his bangs away from his face so I can see his eyes. He leans in and kisses me sweetly and briefly.
"Why on earth are you here?" I ask and Adrien chuckles and kisses me again.
"Remember that day that William came? Well, he came to ask me if I could teach Reapestry for a few days. I was supposed to come in Friday, but Will wrote me that letter you found and asked if I could come in after lunch today and teach, and also come in tomorrow," Adrien explains. I smile.
"Well, you know so much about me already," I say quirking a suggestive brow. Adrien laughs and I join him.
"I suppose our minds are thinking the same," he says, cupping my cheek and pulling me in for another kiss, but this time it was deeper and lasted longer. I smile into the kiss before trying to get closer to my beloved.
