====MCKENZIE====

I wake up the next morning and feel one arm around me and another draped over my waist. "Good morning, my dear," I hear from behind me, making me smile. Adrien's warm breath fans my ear when he'd pulled my hair back to kiss it.

"Good morning to you, as well, Adrien," I say, placing my hands over his that are around me. I move back so I'm against his chest more, and he pulls me tightly to him. I then start to hum to the tune of You Are My Sunshine again and Adrien starts placing little kisses all over the back of my head.

When I finish humming, I feel Adrien sit up, and soon enough I'm being held in his arms bridal style. He carries me to the kitchen and sets me on the counter, next to where he then begins making breakfast.

I watch him closely, enjoying the scene of Adrien dashing around the kitchen with only his pants and boots on. His long hair is a little messy from sleeping and from when I ran my fingers through it, but really all I see is perfection. I then look down at my legs and realize they are completely smooth. Once Adrien's back is to me, I secretly check under my arms and see nothing is there as well. Then it hits me. I have no hair. Anywhere. Well, except for my eyebrows and eyelashes (if they even count as hair), so that's a relief. Even my arms were completely hairless. I don't know whether to be upset or to think it's cool.

Adrien must have heard something outside because he stops what he's doing and runs to go and put his robe on, then comes back, all before I had the chance to blink. Damn reaper speed... I think to myself. The front parlor door then bursts open, and soon, standing in the kitchen, is none other than the red-clad reaper Grell Sutcliff.

He goes straight to Adrien and wraps his arms around him in what looks like a bone-crushing embrace. Adrien doesn't seem to be enjoying any of it. I can't help but laugh. I know Grell kind of likes Adrien, but I know that he won't get him. Sorry, Grell, I love ya, but Adrien's mine. I hop off the counter, still chuckling and shaking my head. As I'm leaving the kitchen, I notice a snarling look that Adrien gives Grell, probably angry at the younger for driving me out of the room. I then hear Grell telling Adrien that he's actually here to talk to him.

I, on the other hand, want to explore the place a bit more, and I go to the corridor I found a month or so prior, when I was attacked the first time. I carry a candle with me this time, the candle having a clear glass around the flame as to keep it from going out, but open at the top to continue giving the flame oxygen.

As I walk, I finally decide to go into one of the rooms that line the corridor. Sure, I should be wary about how last time I was attacked and such, but I feel fine now, I suppose. I guess my curiosity is overpowering fear.

"Whoa..." I say breathily when I open up a door. In the glow of the candle, I see the room is black and white. Everything. Even the bed. And this was an actual bed. Not a coffin or anything. Do these rooms down here have actual beds and things? If so, why does Undertaker not use them? Welp, just another thing I need to ask him. I turn to leave the room, but just as I do so..

"HOLY MARY MOTHER BABY JESUS!" I scream when I'm met with an upside-down Adrien in the doorway. Inches from my face. Honestly, he's cute and all, but in a place like this, then turning around and him being right there... yeah, not something you want to be greeted with. His hair was all dangling down and a lot of it was pooled on the floor. I sigh and shake my head. He then reaches out and pulls me in for a sweet kiss. I feel his breath from his nose tickling underneath my chin as well. When I pull away, I shake my head a little. "You look like a bat hanging upside-down like that," I tell him. Then, before I could blink, Adrien flips down from where he was hanging, and lands behind me, immediately placing his hands on my hips. I thought he was going to embrace me or something, but he soon jumps up into the air and back, then pulling me into a corner behind the edge of a bookshelf. I couldn't even say anything because his hand covered my mouth.

"Shh," I hear from him. He blows out my candle, then he's suddenly gone. I see a long strand of silvery hair dangling from the ceiling before it is quickly pulled up. I look up and see Adrien among the horizontal rafters. Afterwards, there is a breeze, a flash of silver, and a heavy thud right in front of me, and I have to cover my mouth to suppress a gasp. I hear the sounds of fighting and hitting, but I can't see a thing.

"Undertaker!" I hear from the doorway. It was Ciel's voice that had yelled it. I then hear quick footsteps that must be Sebastian's, as his butler shoes give a small click when he walks. Then there's the sound of a choke, and there's a high probability Sebastian had yanked someone up off the ground by the back collar of their shirt, making the person choke. I then feel someone grab me and check me all over, and I know those hands belong to Adrien, before they fall away. There's another thud from behind me now, but I'm still in shock from what just happened. Whatever it was.

Then there's light. Ciel had lit a rather large candle, and the room was suddenly lit up. I see Sebastian holding a man with a decent (but not-so-decent looking) amount of blood on his body. However, I don't see Adrien. I look around in a panic, before looking down at the ground.

There lay an even bloodier man, his breath quick, shallow, and ragged. Blood gushed from the body of the man. The man with long, silver hair.
