Once they arrive at the Stewart house, Carson slams her door to hear voices again. This time Ms. Martin's?
"Lydia!"
"Carson, are you coming?" Lydia breaks her out of her thoughts.
"Yeah, sorry. Yeah," she catches up, not missing the look shared between her friends.
They get to her door when Kira stops Lydia from grabbing the handle.
"Hold on. Isn't this like a crime scene or something?"
"No," Lydia scoffs, opening the door to reveal the very familiar yellow tape.
"Yeah the tape is a decorative choice," Carson chuckles.
"Okay maybe it is. Don't worry about it."
"Okay so what are we looking for?" Kira asks.
"I'm not sure. I'm mostly just following a feeling," Lydia shrugs.
"Your feelings usually lead to dead bodies."
"Correct," Carson purses her lips, pointing to Kira in agreement.
"Well, let me know if you find one."
They continue to look around, Carson picking up several pieces of jewelry.
"Okay, all I'm getting from this is that she's in need of a style change. This bracelet looks like it's for a five year old," she holds up a very ugly bedazzled bangle, making Lydia shiver in distaste.
"Look at this," Kira diverts their attention to a pink box. ""Remember Tracy Bear, it only works if you believe it. Hope this helps. Love Dad." This is beyond depressing."
"He was just trying to help her."
"Why would she go after him like that?"
"Control is very fickle, Yukimura. One second you have it, the next you're trying not to murder everyone in a five mile radius," Carson looks down.
"But it wasn't a full moon."
"Maybe a werewolf with night terrors is worse than a..." Lydia starts, taking the dream catcher from Kira's hands. "You know, there are cases of people who accidentally murdered their entire family while in a night terror."
"Oh, I was talking to Stiles about this last night. I figured it was too unlikely," Carson perks up.
"What?"
"Homicidal somnambulism. Murdering someone while in a night terror," she explains.
"So if Tracy's killing people she doesn't really want to kill, she might not actually be awake."
