*alyssa*

We drove for a total of twenty minutes and I'm getting even more confused as of the second. He's driving up rather large hills and passing some pretty interesting houses.

"Where are we going? I'm pretty sure this isn't the route to your house," I said for like the tenth time this whole ride.

"How would you know that? You didn't even go to my house the last time you were here," he answered getting snippy with me, but in a funny way.

"I'm just confused that's all."

He stayed silent but his fingers were still locked with mine. I began to play with them out of boredom. To me it's really cute how he's being so sweet. It's the little things he does to me that makes me feel so happy. I honestly think that if Joe never took me to Omaha, I wouldn't be happy and be sitting in some other family's home bored out of my mind.

"That's really distracting," Jack piped up.

"I'm sorry. I'll stop."

"No, it feels nice," he whined.

"But you just said-"

He cut me off, "Were here. I hope you don't mind a little bit of walking. Do you?"

I shook my head, unbuckling and grabbing the door handle, but JJ locked the door as soon as my hand touched it.

"Am I not allowed to get out or something?" I turned to him but he's already out of the car running to my side.

I mentally awed. He unlocked the door and opened it for me, taking my hand as I stepped out.

"Follow me, this is going to be sick!" He cheered.

I laughed at how excited he was. It's was like he was a kid dragging his mother through a toy store, but I'm not his mother and he's most certainly not my son.

"Can you slow down? You're hurting my arm!" I complained.

"If you don't hurry up then you'll miss it!" He continued to tug at my arm.

"Miss what?"

"You'll see! Just hurry up!"

We kept hiking up hills. I grew tired. It feels like I'm more tired now than I was when I got here. Man, I'm out of shape.

Jack lead me for another ten minutes. This is frustrating. I'm tiered and ready to just give up.

"You only said it would only be a little bit of walking," I complained.

"I lied," he laughed.

I rolled my eyes then bumped into him. Nearly falling over, Jack wrapped his arms around my waist before I could fall over.

"You're a klutz."

"Says the kid who just stopped in his tracks."

"That doesn't even make any sense," I complained.

He stayed silent looking not at me.

"Hello? I'm talking to you!" I waved my free hand in front of his face.

"Look at this," he pointed.

I looked at what he was. My mouth hung open in awe. It's gorgeous.

He took me up into the mountains to look over the city at sunrise.

"It's beautiful," I smiled, sitting down on the small ledge.

Jack smiled down at me but I kept looking at the view. He finally sat down next to me.

"Not as beautiful as you though."

I looked up at him, still smiling. It slowly faded when we locked eyes. His blue eyes gleamed with the oranges and pinks in the sky. Absolutely breathe taking.

Slowly, Jack leaned down. Oh god!

Is it seriously going to happen now?

I don't even to think right now but for some reason I leaned up but just a bit.
