I stopped myself. What am I doing?

I tried to turn my head but Jack caressed my cheek and kept my gaze towards his. He got even closer to me with his lips hovering over mine.

"J-Jack," I stamper.

"Sh, just let it happen," he whispered as his hot breathe brushed against my nose and cheeks.

Fluttering his eyes shut, his lips touched mine. I hesitated. It felt weird. I was stiff as a board not knowing what to do.

On the verge of freaking out, Jack's lips parted, "Relax, follow my lead."

I began to relax and slung my arms around his neck, letting my eyes close. Jack pulled me close to him deepening the kiss just a tad, still being simple and sweet.

His lips were soft and plump with a sweet taste of mint from his gum that he was chewing not long ago.

My lips molded into his in the most perfect way; it felt addicting.

Slowly, Jack's lips parted again but this time he traced his tongue against my lower lip. He pulled away immedietly after leaving me wanting more.

The sensation of his lips on mine made me tingle and make me feel something I never felt before.

Jack and I opened our eyes at the same and I put my forehead against his.

He looks deeply into my eyes, "Lyss?"

"Yes?" I ask out of breathe.

Jack paused, "Do you trust me?"

My breathe hitched and I stayed silent. I really didn't know what to say. He told me he can earn my trust but I just don't know. I know it sounds like a stupid question but it means a lot.

"I-I don't know."

"I think you do," he continued to look in my eyes, chucking.

"What do you mean?"

"You're letting me kiss you," he chuckled.

I stayed silent, smiling.

"Do you know how long I've waited to do that? To finally gather enough courage to finally kiss you. I've been holding back for the longest time," he paused again moving his forehead away from mine placing his forehead on the crook of my neck. "I'll always be here for you. Please don't ever forget that."

Tears started to form in my eyes; I couldn't tell if they were happy tears or sad tears.

"I don't even think I know what trust is," I mumbled.

Jack stayed silent pulling me a little closer, "I can help you. We can figure it out. Together."

A warm feeling came from my stomach which made me smile.

"You don't have to say it but I can really feel it and I won't let anyone hurt you. I know saying I trust you sounds kinda stupid but it can be our little thing you know?"

Hot tears were now coming out in rivers landing on the back of Jack's neck, but I giggled at his corniness.

"JJ," I choked out, barley audible.

He picked up his head and looked me in the eyes, "There's nothing to cry about, baby girl."

My stomach flipped.

Jack wiped my tears away with his thumbs, "I trust you. You're the strongest girl I've ever met. I can help you."

I couldn't help myself and leaned back in to kiss him again. Jack didn't hesitate to kiss back. He took control again deepening it a little more but still keeping it as simple as possible, and I continued to follow his lead. His hand moved to the back of my neck pulling me a little closer.

This is a sensation that I never want to end. It was full of bliss, happiness, passion, and anything in between. I never thought in my life that I would get a moment like this and it's finally happening to me. (if your get that reference you are the true MVP)

I ran out of breathe and pulled away.

"Are you sure you've never done this before?" He chuckled.

I put my head on his shoulder and giggled, "Um, yeah I'm sure."

"Let's go with that," he joked.

I rolled my eyes when he put his arms around me, enjoying he beautiful sunrise in front of us.

"Hey Lyss."

"Yeah?"

"I trust you."

I giggled, "I trust you too."

My eyes slowly closed, letting a peaceful sleep take over my body.
