TimeSkip: 3 Years Later
Oikawa's Pov:
Mieko was 15 now. He was in his first year of high school. Me-chan and I was almost done with dinner. Mieko should be home in minute now. He was on the Seijoh volleyball team. He played as the team's wing spiker and ace. Me-chan covered the food and then looked at the time.
"He should be home by now."
"He's prob-" My sentence was interrupted by the door opening. It slammed closed and I walked over to Mieko.
"Could you be nice to the doors?"
"Get away from me-" Me-chan walked behind me.
"Mieko what happened?" Me-chan pulled me back a little and Mieko dropped his bag, and tried to catch his breath. Me-chan walked over to Mieko. Mieko's smell was weird. Me-chan helped him up and brought him to his room. There was knock at the door and I opened it. It was a teenager, probably one of Mieko's friends. He was wearing their jersey.
"Um... hi Mr. Tooru sir."
"Hi...?"
"Oh my god Mieko wasn't lying... um you're super cool!"
"Oh a fan, how do you know my address?"
"No, no um Mieko was acting weird at practice today, when I tried to talk to him and yelled at me and I was just wondering if he was alright."
"Oh? What's your name?"
"Yukio."
"Yukio... well Mieko is alright, he's just a little sick."
"Does that mean he won't be in school tomorrow."
"Probably not."
"Then I'll bring his homework in tomorrow!"
"Thank you Yukio."
"Have a good night Mr. Tooru!"
"You too."
He walked off and I closed the door. Sweet little kid, I heard growling and yelling. Mieko must be in rut right now. I actually had no idea what to do. They were growling and Me-chan was yelling at Mieko for a while. When all the noise stopped Me-chan came out the room, he went into the medicine cabinet then went back into Mieko's room.
When Me-chan came out again, he walked towards me.
"Is he alright?"
"He's fine. He went into rut."
"I thought so... what did you do, I heard growling and yelling."
"Um... alpha things."
"Gasp, did you do my trick against me."
"I did."
"So mean~"
"But he's alright, I gave him some of my medicine he's sleeping."
"Does your mother growl and stuff to you when in rut?"
"Yeah it's what your supposed to do."
"Why didn't you tell me, I was over here feeling useless~"
"Sorry, sorry."
"And when I finally decide to cook with you it goes to waste."
"Tooru we still gotta eat to."
"I know, I know, but we cooked okonomiyaki... his favorite."
"We'll save some for him when he wakes up."
"Fine, fine."
We warmed up dinner then sat down and started eating.
"So, Me-chan, someone showed up at the door today?"
"Who?"
"A kid, by the name Yukio."
"I've heard that name before."
"Yes you have."
"Oh Mieko's first kiss, Yukio?"
"I think so, I should've guess Yukio would go to Seijoh, their still friends."
"Tooru what are you implying."
"Who me? Implying something? Nah you're crazy."
"Mhm."
"He has his first game coming up."
"He hasn't volleyball with us since he was 12, I wanna see his progress."
"I do too."
"Hopefully he has better teamwork skills than you do."
"My teamwork skills are better!"
"Y'all hear something?"
"Why are you so mean to me~"
