TimeSkip: 1 Year Later
Iwaizumi's Pov:
"Kawa are you finished yet?"
"No, net yet!"
I was planning on proposing tonight. I saved up money for like two years in order to get this ring. But like anyone would be I was nervous. We were going going camping/hiking. There was a mountain peek with a great view, that's where I wanted to propose. Kawa was finally ready and I grabbed the cooler. He opened the door. We had a rented car and we put all the things in the rented car. He locked the front door and got into the car. I pulled out the driveway and started the 3 hour drive.
Kawa and I's relationship was doing well. Kawa was fully comfortable now, which means we were very uh activate. We recently took a vacation with our parents. We go on plenty of dates and things. He still plays volleyball and I work as a trainer. When we stopped for gas, Kawa went to the bathroom. He came back with some sodas, candy, and chips.
"Really Kawa?"
"Yes really, I'm hungry."
"I told you to eat before we left babe."
"I was trying to make sure we had everything."
"Right, right."
We got back into the car. We got back on the rode and Kawa fell asleep after eating half of his snacks. When there was a red light, I took a picture of him. He was an actually sleeping beauty. I looked at the picture, then I took the rest of his snacks.
When we woke up he yelled at me for taking his sweets and then he played his music. We finally got to the hiking sight and unpacked the car. We walked the hiking trail and carried all our things with us.
"Is there going other people?"
"Hopefully not, but there might."
"Awww I was looking forward to private camping sex~"
"Is that all you were looking forward to shittykawa?!!"
"Of course not, I was mostly looking forward to smores!!!"
"Mhm."
"I'm half serious I was looking forward to smores and camping sex."
"Woah so naughty."
He hummed and smirked at me. We kept walking, we didn't see any other people. So I guess Kawa was in luck. We reached the camping spot and finally put our stuff down. I set up our tent and Oikawa grabbed some firewood.
"Dammit, I left my glasses... I can't see shit."
"Here."
"You brought them for me thank you~!!"
Kawa put his glasses on and looked at the directions.
"So do we just put the hotdogs on these sticks and they definitely won't burn?"
"Depends if you want it a lil crispy."
Kawa giggled as I set the fire. He put his hot dog close to the fire and hummed. When he took his hot dog away it caught on fire. He freaked out and I blew the fire out. I laughed at him and he pouted at me.
"Look Iwa I did it~"
"Good job."
He took the hot dog off the stick and put it in a bun. He put ketchup on the hot dog and got some chips. I put my hot dog by the fire next and waited. I watched Kawa eat his. It was his first time camping and it looks like he was enjoying it. But, I was still nervous as fuck. I was going to propose tomorrow. Kawa looked at me and snickered.
"Seems like Iwa like his hot dogs crispy."
"Huh?"
I looked at him confused then looked at my hot dog. It was pure black. I groaned and took it off the stick. Kawa get snickering as he made me one.
"Looks like I found the perfect thing that I'm better cooking than Iwa."
"That doesn't count, I was thinking about something!"
"Hm? What were you thinking about?" I blushed and snickered deciding to tease him.
"You." He blushed and took his hot dog from by the fire.
"Oi! I'm not a thing!"
"You're my pretty thing."
"Stawwp!!"
