TimeSkip: 1 Year Later
Mieko's Pov:
"Babe what's wrong?"
"I... just found out I was adopted."
Yukio gasped and hugged me. I was still shaken up by the news even though I was grateful. I hugged him backed. I took a deep breath and he grabbed my hand.
"I was able to find my birth mother."
"We're you able to talk to them."
"Yeah, they were nice to me... but it's a surprise that I was adopted."
"Are you mad at your parents."
"No, no. I spent the whole day with them. I feel grateful for them really."
"I'm glad... but I don't really know what to say though."
"You don't really have to say anything I just need to... think."
"I understand."
I gave him a peck on the lips and walked away. I walked home and I felt someone pull my shirt.
"Jeez you walk to fast, I don't trust you with you're own thoughts."
"Ahh you're so nice babe~"
"I'm spending the night."
"Uh oh."
"Don't uh oh me I'm giving you comfort."
"I bigger uh oh."
"Disrespectful."
I walked home with him and I saw mom and dad in the kitchen.
"Mom, Dad Yukio is staying over."
"Alright." Dad said sipping his coffee. We went into my room and he went through my closet.
"Bro where are you're hoodies."
"In here."
"Oh."
He grabbed one of the hoodies I have. He stripped down to his underwear and put my hoodie on. I blushed and looked away from. Yukio and I never went farther then a couple of kisses here and there, we didn't want to do anything intimate but I wonder how long that will keep up with the weird messages he's been sending me.
I sighed and sat down beside him. My mind was still racing about me being adopted. I just wished they told me sooner other than they did. I felt Yukio's head on my lap. I don't feel any different about mom and dad, so I need to stop stressing about that.
"Yuki are you sleeping?" I heard no response and I laid down. I put him on my chest and held him close. I heard my door open and I saw Mom walk in.
"Boo I thought you were both sleeping."
"What's up mom?"
"I was just checking on you."
"Mom."
"Hm?"
"I love you." He smiled and looked at me.
"I love you too."
He left closing the door behind him. I yawned and fell asleep with Yukio on top of me.
