Mieko's Pov:
"So where were you?" Mom asked muting the T.V.
"C-can we talk in the morning, I'm really tired,"
"Don't diss my question Mieko, where were you?"
"I'm sorry but I'm going to bed." I hurried past them. I opened my bedroom door and locked it. I just dodge so many bullets I feel like I made an illegal move. I stripped down to my underwear and I laid down. My mind was still racing from what happened at the party. I mean he was drunk, he won't even remember this.
I fell asleep. When I woke up I put a shirt and some sweatpants on. I checked my phone and saw a text message from Yukio.
Text Messages:
Yukio: Omg I just saw the video I'm so sorry!
Mieko: Video?
Yukio: Uhh yeah *video link*
Mieko: Oh.
Yukio: We're you drunk also?
Mieko: I think so
Yukio: I thought you said you weren't going to drink.
Mieko: I might've given into a shot or two I don't really know,
Yukio: I'm so embarrassed how could you let me do that😭
Mieko: I'm sorry
Yukio: Well I gtg
Mieko: Yeah me too
I put my phone down and I opened my door. I went to the bathroom and when I got out, I went to the living room. They were in the kitchen talking and I took a deep breath.
"So... again Mieko where were you."
"I fell asleep studying at Yukio's house."
My looked at his phone and a video started playing. The music, the noise. Mom and dad saw the video. I gulped and dad hummed.
"Sounds like good studying huh?"
"...." I looked out the ground and I bit my lip.
"Nothing to say now hm?"
I stayed quiet and Mom walked up to me. He lifted my head. He was glaring at me and I tried to look away from him.
"W-we just wanted to go to a party! Nothing happened I swear!" Mom walked back. He sighed and crossed his arms.
"Why did you sneak out and lie?"
"Because you guys are mad at me." Dad walked up beside Mom.
"We're mad because you snuck out and lied about it." He said. I blushed remembering what happened during the party.
"I wasn't drinking... and we didn't have sex, I'm sorry I lied and snuck out." I blurted out. Mom held out his hand and I put my phone in his hand. His hand was still out and I gave him my keys.
"Good now go to your room."
"Can I at least have something to eat?"
Dad glared at me and I sighed. I went to my room and closed the door. I laid down on my bed and put a pillow over my face. Great just how I wanted to spend my amazing Saturday, grounded without my phone. I was frustrated with what I was feeling. And hopefully I'm to old to get my ass beat again.
I heard them talking. I sighed as I heard footsteps coming to my door. The door opened and I didn't move the pillow off my face.
"If you would've asked us, we would've let you go." It was dad, instead of Mom. That was different.
"Sorry."
"Did you drink?"
"No."
I felt his sit beside me on my bed. I was just really embarrassed right now.
"Mieko, do you have anything to say?"
"...N-no."
"No questions?"
"When can I have my car back?"
"When we say you can." I sighed and sat up. I took the pillow off my face and I looked at my father. He's an alpha too, I'm sure he can relate to half of what I was feeling.
"Is there like a way you can have a crush on someone without knowing."
"Yeah. I had a crush on your mother without knowing."
"So I'm not going insane."
"I don't know about that one."
I sighed and put the pillow back on my face. I laid back and dad took the pillow. I grabbed the blanket and he sighed.
"Well if there's nothing else be in the front yard in 5 minutes."
"What are going to do."
"You'll see."
"Wait- no!"
"Too late come on."
"I said I was sorry, have mercy on me!"
