"Spring is here and I'm confident these designs will instantly pop out on any rainy day!"
The class applauded Marinette as she happily skipped to her seat.
"The judges will love you Marinette. These designs are perfect for the showcase!"
Mrs.Bustier applauded as she walked back up to the classroom with a satisfied grin plastered on her face. Marinette jumped into her seat, startling Fiona as she was doodling into her notebook.
"That was great, Mari! You will certainly get that internship no doubt!"
The girls giggled as the teacher began reminding the students of the project once again, this caused all the students to groan.
"I know, I've repeated myself for days now. But this is a significant event for our school, you've all been selected for your incredible skills and involvement in the Fashion Club. We want to display those skills at the annual Paris's Young Designers Showcase next weekend!"
That caused the students to praise and roar in excitement. It was true, this was an invite-only event and the matter that François Dupont High was even invited truly shows the extraordinary skills the students had. Fiona flipped through all the pages in Marinette's sketch pad, admiring all the amazing designs she had made for the event.
"These are incredible, Mari. These look like they were designed by Gabriel Agreste himself!"
Fiona excitedly nudged Marinette in the arm as she smiled widely at the girl.
"Fiona! You're obsessing over me when I should be obsessing over you! I can't believe you agreed to be my model for the showcase!"
Marinette exclaimed loudly before being shushed by Mrs.Bustier. Fiona chuckled at the remark, lightly shoving Marinette in the arm from embarrassment.
"Hey! But for real Mari, these designs are amazing. I can't wait to model these for you."
The girls resumed their conversation before a familiar voice shrieked and busted into the classroom.
"Chole! This is a closed meeting!"
The teacher tried reprimanding the excited blonde. Chole vigorously tapped her phone before looking up at everyone and triumphantly announcing.
"I'm sorry Mrs.Bustier, but I have to share this important news! Daddykins just told me that there will be a celebrity judge that day and many more scouts!"
The class erupted in excitement as Chole jumped up in the air like a child.
"Do you know who this celebrity is?"
Someone asked. Chole jerked her head before going back to tapping her phone.
"Okay thank you, Chole. This is big news indeed. Hopefully, this news provides some new motivation for your designs."
The class began chatting once again, Chole decided to stay for the rest of the meeting and help Marinette pick out her finished designs. She even offered to help her make them. The meeting was practically over, and the trio was making their way out of the school. They finally made it onto the school entrance where Fiona's car was waiting for her.
"Sorry girls. I gotta go, I have a meeting with the Agreste's. But I'll see you both at the movies later tonight."
Fiona jokingly shot up two-finger guns at them, giggling over way to her car.

The meeting went by quickly, it was pretty much the identical thing they discuss every week. Fiona thought they were pointless because it's the parents who talk and the teens merely listen and agree. But tonight, she was going to go out and have some fun for once. Fiona and her mother were walking to the door when Fiona noticed Felix sitting alone on the stairs.
