A/N- hey guys, long long long time no see. Guess what tho, your girl is finished with her 1st year of medschool. Its summer now so I have time to write. I did miss this book and my lovely readers but guys university is really difficult and leaves me with not mcuh time, but more than the time its the will to write. Medschool really just sucked the inspiration out of me 😂😂
I did read back to the last few chapters to give myself a reminder of the current circumstances in the book, so I could right this chapter. You guys might wanna give yourselves a reminder too.
Also this chapter contains little flashback from Joon's POV. I hope you enjoy and please please please leave a comment❤❤❤
Namjoon's POV
"We've tried our best, but we cannot be certain if he'll survive. He's been stabbed 3 times, broken 4 ribs and dislocated his shoulder. We've cleaned and stitched everything up and started the blood transfusions, but we can only hope that he wakes up soon."
Jin let out a shaky breath and shut his eyes whilst Jimin broke down and began sobbing after listening to the surgeon.
"Can we speak to his next of kin?" A police officer asked.
Jin took opened his teary eyes and turned to the officer.
"That will be me, I am Kim Seokjin, his friend and the legal guardian of his sister who is currently recieving treatment. He doesn't have any other immediate family." Jin handed the officer his ID card.
"Mr. Tuan tipped us about the perpertrator that attacked him. Wang Ka Yee, he's a dangerous criminal from Hong Kong with many charges to his name including involvement in muder, drug abuse and sex trafficking, although I suppose you are familiar with him as Jackson Wang." The officer said and Jin nodded.
What was he saying...
The man that I brought into all of our lives was a convicted murderer. I was the reason why Mark was fighting to stay alive right now.
I had done this all.
"He has been arrested and is in the process of being handed over to the Hong Kong police. We're sorry for what happened to your friend, but there's a cash reward equivelent to aproximately 50 million won. He can claim it once he recovers or his sister can."
Jin thanked the officer and led him out whilst I absorbed what he had just told.
"I can't believe that the man we let into our homes was such a filthy person." Taehyung's face twisted in disgust.
"Since the cash prize is such a large sum, this man really had to be a huge asswhole." Yoongi muttered.
"I just want Mark to be o-okay." Hoseok stuttered before he bean to cry.
Everyone rushed to comfort him whilst I quietly slipped away from them until I was out of their sight and ran out of the hospital.
"If anything happens to him it will be no one's fault but your own."
He was right, this was all because of me.
My legs struggled to hold my weight and I leaned against the wall of the hospital parking lot before sinking to the floor.
My hands shook uncontrollably and I couldn't keep myself together anymore. I broke down, crying quietly into my hands.
I had caused all of this.
I knew from the moment I first saw Jin that I would be no good for him. But I continued to push for my place in his life. Ever since the beginning, I caused him nothing but pain, and now... I was the cause of everyone's pain.
