things only got worse from there, the main thing bothering jisung was jeongin.

the others had all come to greet him at some point except jeongin which wasn't like him at all. not only that, but if jisung went near him, jeongin just walked away and didn't even acknowledge him. it was starting to get frustrating.

the club was his favorite place ever and he felt out of place and uncomfortable. felix stayed with him the whole time, trying to cheer him up as much as he could.

"are you staying in my dorm tonight?" he asked jisung as they sat together in one of the booths.

"i don't know, it depends on what chan wants me to do."

"i'm sure things will be better tomorrow okay? there's just a lot going on right now."

"jeongin and hyeon hate me."

"they don't, hyeon is upset right now and what would be jeongin's reason to hate you?"

"i don't know but he won't talk to me. he's literally over there sitting with hyunjin and riku, he'd rather sit with riku than talk to me."

"i don't know sung, it will be fine."

jisung rested his chin on his hand, sighing.

"want to go on the poles? that always cheers you up."

"i don't know, i feel really self concious in here, i don't know what's going on."

they watched as jeongin and riku went up on stage to use the poles shortly after, both of them practicing some tricks.

chan was sitting in his box above the stage, watching them.

jisung was struggling to handle everything right now. he felt hurt but angry at minho, he felt guilty about hyeon, he felt unsure about what was happening with chan, he felt uncomfortable and confused about jeongin and nothing was adding up. the club was always his safe space and now it felt like he wasn't welcome.

"jisung."

he looked up, hearing chan call him.

chan motioned for him to come up to the box, he smiled a bit at felix as he got up from the table, pulling the sleeves over his hands as he walked past the others, feeling eyes on him as he went up to chan's box.

"yes hyung?"

"did you sleep okay?"

jisung nodded a little, sitting down next to chan where he pointed, wincing slightly at the ache.

"yeah, i'm a little worried though."

"why?"

"jeongin is acting off with me, he hasn't talked to me, and he keeps avoiding me when i try to talk to him, they're all hanging out with riku... has riku replaced me?"

"i wouldn't say he replaced you jisung."

"i don't know, i've never felt out of place here before and now i do."

chan hummed and moved his hand to rest on jisung's thigh in a comforting way.

"give them a day or so, they'll adjust."

"thank you hyung, a-and thank you for last night too."

chan smirked a little and looked at him.

"why?"

"i don't know, it helped me forget about the fight and it helped me relax too."

"i'm glad i can help in some way."

"felix wants to know where i'm staying."

"you could stay with him, or you're more than welcome to stay with me."

"are you sure?"

chan nodded, looking at him.

"it's not like you're staying without giving in return, right?"

jisung felt his cheeks get red as he smiled a little, looking away from him.

"what is it some sort of payment for letting me stay in your apartment?"

"it could be."

"when's the next payment due?"

"tonight."

jisung smiled more, blushing harder as he nodded.

"i think i can pay by then."

"perfect."

chan chuckled and looked back down at the dancers.

"maybe you should try and befriend riku, it seems like the others are trying."

"i would rather slap him."

"me too, but that won't solve anything. go on, go back to felix."

jisung nodded and stood up.

"thank you hyung."

he left chan's box and went down the stairs, leaving chan's office and walking back through the club. he hated this so much, he wanted to hang out with his friends and have fun, but right now he didn't even want to go on the poles.

they looked up as hyeon came in, he was wearing minjoon's hoodie, walking into the room and going to sit next to the stage by himself, not even acknowledging jisung.

jisung put his head down on the table, sighing heavily.

"i'm sorry sungie."

"i don't know what to do."

"what did chan want?"

"he was just checking up on me, i can stay with him while i'm here, i don't want to disturb you."

"it's up to you but you wouldn't be disturbing me."

"i haven't been sleeping well lately, the dorms are only small and it's not fair on you."

"if you say so, come on, let's try and talk to the others."

felix took jisung's hand and pulled him up, going to the floor where the others were sitting.

"hi guys, can we sit with you?"

jisung smiled at them, hyunjin and seungmin gave smiles back, but riku and jeongin completely ignored him.

"sure." seungmin replied softly.

when jisung and felix sat down, there was a weird tension between them. jisung played with the strings on his shorts as he stared at the floor.

"how was your trip to your parent's lix?" hyunjin asked, trying to make conversation.

"it was good, i had fun, i missed them."

"it felt really weird to have days off like that, like no work or practice."

"yeah, it felt weird to be away from the club, but i'm glad i'm back."

jisung listened to their conversation, jumping a little as his phone buzzed. he looked at it, seeing taeya's contact. he sighed softly and declined the call, putting his phone down.

when he looked up he realized their eyes were on him, confused.

he gave a small smile in return, trying to pretend it didn't happen.
