when they were seated, chan opened the club and people began coming in, jisung watched intensely as seungmin went on first to perform, he smiled as the music started and he watched the routine with taeya.
"how the hell is he doing that?!" she asked.
jisung laughed as they watched him pull off tricks, he wanted to perform even more now, he wanted to impress taeya.
he enjoyed it a lot more now that she was there, she kept finding ways to make jisung laugh.
"the drinks are amazing." she smiled, taking another sip of her drink.
jisung had a drink too, it was alcoholic but not strong and he was enjoying taking small sips of it.
he looked around the club, watching as jeongin finished and it was riku's turn. he nudged taeya.
"i know he sucks but don't do anything to sabotage him."
"you're no fun."
"i'm serious." he giggled.
"then how about you cover your eyes and i'll go up and throw him off myself, then i'll lie about it."
"taeya no!" he laughed, shaking his head.
"i'm joking don't worry."
"it would be my turn after riku if minho would let me."
taeya leaned over to minho.
"jisung just noticed the boss calling us up to his box, we'll be back."
"huh?"
"it's probably to do with having hyeon over because he doesn't know taeya very well and he's protective."
minho hummed and nodded, going back to talking to minjoon.
taeya got up and pulled jisung up too, letting him lead her to chan's office, greeting the security like a friend as he let them up to chan's box.
"hyung?"
chan looked up at the two of them.
"is everything okay?"
taeya smiled sweetly at him.
"would you be willing to let jisung perform?"
"you want to perform?"
jisung nodded eagerly.
"i guess that should be okay, are your arms warmed up?"
"yes."
that was a partial lie, he had done some tricks at the house, he wasn't properly warmed up but he had performed without warming up before so he wasn't too worried.
"go on then. go backstage through the private corridor though."
they left chan's box, laughing like children getting into trouble as jisung showed her the corridor that went behind the stage until they were backstage.
"i shouldn't, minho said no."
"taeya said yes, go and kill it." she replied quickly.
"okay okay, go down those stairs and back to the booth." he replied, going to the music booth to ask for his music.
taeya waved at him before going the way he showed her, returning to minho in the booth.
"where's jisung?"
"backstage, getting ready to perform."
"you didn't."
"oh but i did."
minho rubbed his forehead and sighed, glaring at taeya.
"relax hyung, he'll be focusing on you the whole time, there's nothing to worry about." minjoon smiled at minho.
jisung rolled his shoulders as his music started, smiling slightly as he went out onto the stage, the routine was second nature to him and he was focused on taeya watching him. he heard a loud reaction of calls when he appeared and he could faintly hear taeya's voice in it too.
he pulled himself up on the pole to the music, starting his first set of tricks, he wanted to pull everything off perfectly with no mistakes, he couldn't really see the table past the harsh stage lights but he had done this enough times to know where to look.
minho watched him intensely, biting at his lip as he studied jisung's every move. he couldn't help but stare at jisung hungrily. taeya was staring at the stage in awe, each trick and move shocking her more and more. minjoon was smiling as he watched jisung, he felt a sense of pride when jisung performed, especially when he was performing better than riku, he wanted jisung to prove who was best, though his eyes kept wondering to something else every now and then.
jisung did his harder tricks right each time, not slipping up once other than the occasional re-grip on the metal to keep himself up. he kept his eyes in the direction of the booth the whole time as he concentrated on the timings of the music. adrenaline was fueling his movements and the pure happiness he felt every time he did something perfectly and he got a tip thrown on stage. he didn't intend to keep it since he wasn't working under chan's business anymore however.
he got slightly disappointed when the last part of his music played and he moved on to the difficult tricks, he focused on his posture, timing and grip on the pole, making sure he safely pulled off all the tricks.
when his music finished he took his ending pose, he couldn't stop his sexy expression from turning into a big smile when he got his final reactions, having to leave the stage.
he breathed out, doing a few excited jumps when he got backstage. he felt like he was shaking from the adrenaline running through his body, he ran his hands through his hair, fixing the style before going to the stairs.
he hoped minho wouldn't be too mad at him since he had said no to performing, he hoped that his actual performance made up for disobeying minho.
he got back to the booth.
"jisung holy shit!!"
he laughed as he looked at taeya, catching his breath.
"how the fuck did you do that?! that was so good!"
he got red and flustered as he took his seat again.
"thank you."
"you have to teach me how, teach me something tomorrow."
jisung nodded, feeling extremely proud of himself.
"i will, it'll be fun."
minho pulled jisung onto his lap facing away from him, pressing a few kisses to the back of jisung's neck.
"are you mad?" jisung mumbled, tipping his head slightly for minho.
"yes and no."
"why yes?"
"because you disobeyed me."
"then why no?"
"because that was hot as fuck."
