jisung ate his pancakes with chocolate syrup, smiling as minjoon told him a story from his high school days. he liked listening to him, he seemed so genuine and kind, and jisung liked the smile minjoon got when he talked about things he was passionate about.
he finished his pancakes and took a few sips of juice before both of them jumped, they looked up as the door opened and minho appeared.
jisung's smile slowly faded, minho looked really rough, it looked like something shifted in him when he saw jisung and minjoon sat together eating, he stayed silent as he turned around and shut the door again, leaving the room as fast as he had walked in.
minjoon slipped off his stool and went to the door, opening it and following minho out.
"hyung wait."
minho ignored him and kept walking, he didn't want to talk to minjoon or jisung, he needed to figure some things out for himself and he wanted to be left alone. minjoon calling him hyung only made him feel guiltier.
minjoon stopped when minho only walked faster, sighing as he turned to go back to the kitchen. he honestly felt guilty about what he had said to minho, he thought he had been harsh on him. the part where he threatened jisung coming to him instead of minho came a little out of nowhere and had been playing on his mind a lot, he really threatened to put his hands on jisung and he wasn't entirely sure himself what he meant by that. it was just as much of a shock to him as it was to minho.
"he hates me." jisung mumbled as minjoon came back.
"hey, forget about him right now."
"i can't, i'm here for him to use, he hasn't hit me or forced me into anything, i think i was just being too sensitive, he didn't do anything."
minjoon sat down on his stool and gently took jisung's hand.
"he didn't have to hit you or force you for him to start getting abusive, it went too far when he said no to you seeing felix, that's isolating you from your loved ones and it's cruel, don't blame yourself for the shit he's done, or the things he hasn't done for that matter, he needs to learn that not everyone exists for his use, he can't exploit you for your body then ignore the requirements that come with that. and it's okay to have those requirements, it doesn't make you needy or annoying to want a hug, or to be told you did good, everyone needs to hear those things."
"i think minho needs to hear those things." jisung replied softly.
minjoon was a little surprised by that response.
"that's an interesting take."
"well, he's obviously very insecure, he thinks being fragile and showing emotion makes him weak."
minjoon listened carefully, he didn't think jisung would've looked so deeply into minho like this.
"maybe minho is the one that needs a hug."
"maybe so, but it doesn't excuse what he's done. now, let's finish breakfast and we can find something to do okay?"
__
jisung did up his shoes before looking in the mirror, he was wearing white shorts and a pastel blue sweater tucked in with a pair of white vans. minjoon had offered to take him to the garden in the back yard and jisung was excited to get out of the house. he waited patiently in his room for minjoon to come back.
he smiled as he walked in wearing jeans and a shirt, he looked a lot happier in casual clothes.
jisung walked with him through the house and to the back doors, they left the building and walked down the pathway towards the area of grass and the fountain, jisung enjoyed the fresh air most, it was pretty warm but still with a cool breeze, it felt nice.
minjoon showed him to the garden area where there were flowers and a small vegetable patch too, obviously minho didn't take are of that, jisung could only assume his staff did, it was starting to feel like jisung was nothing but a member of staff too.
they found a bench and sat down, jisung smiled as he watched the water in the fountain come out of the top.
"hyung, how old are you?" jisung asked after a few seconds out of pure curiiosity.
minjoon smiled a little, looking over.
"how old do you think i am?"
jisung thought for a second, he knew minho was twenty four so he could assume minjoon was around the same age, but he called minho hyung, meaning he had to be at least a year younger.
"twenty three?"
"not quite, i'm twenty one."
"really?"
"mmhm."
"but how were you friends with minho through high school like you said if he's years older than you?"
"i met him through my older brother."
jisung hummed softly and nodded.
"what was he like in high school?"
"very hard working, he didn't talk to many people at all. he's like that now, he's particular about who he opens up to."
"does he open up to you?"
"sometimes, it depends on the topic."
"i can't imagine minho talking about his feelings."
"neither can most people."
"how long as he been a ceo for?"
"not very long actually, three years, but he's very good at management and business because he studied hard in university and he's very smart and he puts a lot of thought into things."
"oh."
"can i ask you something now?"
"yes?"
"why do you want to talk about minho so much?"
jisung looked up at him, tilting his head.
"you keep bringing him up, you seem really curious to know more about him, why is that?"
"i-i'm not actually sure, i guess it's weird to know that he has feelings." jisung joked.
"he definitely does have feelings." minjoon chuckled.
"i'm not sure why i'm so sensitive about it, i should be used to people looking at felix as well as me, that's what my old job mainly consisted of."
"it's because you let minho see a sensitive side to you, sex between you may just be purely for the pleasure and nothing really emotional, but that doesn't stop it from being a very intimate moment, him taking advantage of that intimacy is naturally going to be a sensitive subject for you."
jisung nodded a little, minjoon really had a way of being comforting that made him feel safe to talk and open up, he liked that a lot, how willing minjoon was to listen and give advice.
