Warnings: getting drunk

(Your POV)

Two-Bit and I were talking on the phone to arrange plans. The only thing is, I don't know who will watch Tony while we're out.

"No worries, babygirl, I got just the person who can watch over the little bugger."

"Thanks, Two, see you at the dingo in an hour!"

I waited outside the dingo with Tony. After several minutes, a rusted car pulled up in the parking lot. The driver was speeding as if he'd just stolen it. The car parked directly in front of where Tony and I were standing. Two-Bit and some other individual stepped out of the vehicle. The other guy wore jeans and a leather jacket. He took a drag of his cigarette and I noticed chunky rings wrapped around his fingers.

Dallas Winston.

Every juvenile in Tulsa knows who he is. He's famous for his infinite police record. I think he just recently got out of the cooler. I've never spoken to him before, but I've seen him around.

"Y/n, this is Dally," Two-Bit introduced. I anxiously smiled at Dallas, trying to ignore his judgmental expression. There was silence until Dal tossed his cigarette to the ground, squishing it under his shoe.

"Hey man, I better be getting the money you promised. I hate little kids," He said to Two-Bit. Although Dally made me feel uneasy, I knew that Two-Bit wouldn't let Tony be around someone who'd hurt him. As long as Dally doesn't teach him anything illegal, I think it would be fine.

"Uhm, alright," I said, "Tony, go with Dally, he's in charge. Be good!"

Tony shyly stepped beside Dal, reaching up to take his hand. Dally dodged it and awkwardly situated his hand on top of Tony's head instead. "C'mon little man, let's go."

Two-Bit casually placed his arm around my shoulders as we marched into the dingo. We ordered milkshakes and while we waited we did thumb war matches. Two kept demanding a re-match, but I won every time!

We got our milkshakes and made good conversation about our lives. He'd constantly make silly faces. In his words, he was trying to make me laugh so the milkshake would come out of my nose. Once we ran out of things to talk about, Two-Bit suggested, "I heard there's a party going on over by the west side that I figured we could go to. You tagging along?"

I took one more sip from my milkshake, "Yeah, I guess. I don't want to be out too late though, I still feel bad about leaving Tony alone at home that other night."

Two-Bit took my hand as we raced down the streets to a medium-sized house. I could hear the rambunctious music coming from a block away.

As soon as we stepped in, Two-Bit was already in the beers. He started to chug it until I snatched the bottle away, "Lay off the booze, will ya? We still gotta walk home tonight, not pass out in the streets!"

Instead of listening, he just took another bottle off the counter and chugged that too. He was drinking so fast that some dripped onto his shirt. He obnoxiously burped, then giggled, "Oops."

He saw my expression of disapproval and explained, "C'mon y/n, have some fun! Tony will be okay, Dally's looking after him."

"In that case, I've got nothing to worry about!" I shouted sarcastically. A few minutes later, Two-Bit got wasted - just as I predicted.

(Two-Bit's POV)

Y/n and I stayed at the party for about an hour. She was furious the whole time. She even called me by my real name, Keith. That's how you know she was really mad... I didn't even know she knew my real name! Even though she was yelling at me, I couldn't help but smile at how cute she was.

After scolding me numerous times, y/n finally started dragging me out the door. My head hurt real bad and I felt dizzy. I kept saying some really stupid things, but it's like I couldn't control what I was saying. I started wisecracking at her so maybe she wouldn't be too angry with me. I think it worked, she giggled a few times.

Y/n helped me get past Charlotte and my mom without them noticing us, and into my room. I immediately flopped onto my bed. Y/n slipped my shoes off and sat on the bed beside where I was laying.

"That was a real stupid thing you did," She said, running her fingers through my hair, "Good night, Two. You're gonna feel horrible in the morning by the way." She got up and began to walk out. Before she got away, I grasped the bottom of her shirt, pulling her back.

"Please stay."

My words were kind of slurred and my voice sounded weird.

Shyly smiling, y/n laid down right next to me. Her hands traced along my chest as she snuggled close to my torso. Her smooth legs knotted with mine, making the butterflies in my stomach dance. I rubbed her back until we both fell asleep.

We'd both forget this in the morning, so we might as well appreciate it while we can.
