(Narrator's POV)
You and Two-Bit went to the Curtis household late morning. Entering through the front door, you witnessed Dally and Tony sprawled on the couch fast asleep. An older guy was making breakfast in the kitchen. Two-Bit acquainted the both of you, his name is Darry. Two teenage boys began to file into the kitchen, only wearing underwear.
"There's a girl in here!" One of them shrieked, and they both darted back to their bedroom. They came back out wearing proper clothes. Two more boys walked in through the front door. One had a hawk tattoo on his upper arm, while the other had tan skin and a scar on his cheekbone.
Everything was a bit awkward at first until Two-Bit introduced you to everyone else. Their names are Ponyboy, Steve, Sodapop, and Johnny. Everyone had chocolate cake for breakfast, and it turns out they do that a lot.
Dally and Tony woke up, walking drowsily into the kitchen. The boys tried holding in their snickering. After all, it's not everyday you witness a hood and a toddler falling asleep on a couch together.
Dally scowled and defended himself, "I didn't know what to do with the kid because y'all never came to pick him up, so I came here! Lay off or I'll take your head off!"
"Well how sweet of you, Dally, volunteering to babysit for y/n's kid," Steve teased mockingly. Dally immediately had him wrestled to the ground. Tony came to sit on your lap and began his lengthly story of everything that happened with Dallas.
Once everyone ate, the gang invited you and Tony to join them in a few football games. You all walked to a vacant lot and decided on the teams. It was you, Steve, Two-Bit, Sodapop, and Tony against Darry, Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally.
The boys were super sweet with Tony; they raced around carrying him superman-style as well as softly handing him the ball and giving him a clear path to the end-zone.
Everything was going perfectly until Darry threw the football to Dally. Dally tripped and slammed into Tony hard, sending Tony flying backwards onto the rugged ground.
You decided that was enough rough-housing for the day and started walking away with Tony screeching in your ear.
"Hey, y/n, wait up!" Two-Bit called, jogging up to you, "Let me give you a ride."
You nodded as Two-Bit took Tony from your arms to give you a break. He drove you and Tony to your apartment and walked you up to your suite.
"Can we make plans for tomorrow?" He inquired. You smiled and nodded.
"Perfect! So, I was thinking, since my mom won't be working tomorrow, she can watch Charlotte. That means I could come pick you up around noon!"
"What about Tony?" You asked.
"Oh yeah! I talked to Johnny and Ponyboy, they said they'd be happy to watch him," He replied.
"In that case, it sounds like a plan, Two-Bit Mathews."
Sorry I haven't updated in practically a week! I really don't have an excuse, I just didn't have motivation to write over the long weekend. 😁
