First scenario is from Pinterest, I take no credit for it!
I was walking downtown when I heard footsteps rapidly gaining behind me. Someone slapped their hand to my shoulder, causing me to flinch and speedily turn around.
Standing there were two very attractive guys. They looked about sixteen or seventeen. The one boy let go of my shoulder and had a wide grin on his face. The other was standing farther back with a defeated look on his face.
"Ha, Steve!" The boy shouted back at the other, "I got to her first, she's mine!" He then turned his attention back to me.
"Hey sweets, I'm Sodapop. How are you on this fine day?" He took my hand and shook it while winking. I couldn't help but smile back at him, his smile was contagious.
"I'm y/n," I said.
"Say, y/n, if you don't have any plans right now, why don't you come and grab a coke with me and ol' Stevie here?"
Steve cut in, "And Evie. Evie's coming too."
Sodapop nodded, "Right, Evie. How'd you feel about a double date at the dingo?"
"Yeah, that sounds great," I agreed. Sodapop casually placed his arm across my shoulders as the three of us walked to the dingo.
In the dingo parking lot, a girl with heavy eye makeup and thick, wavy, black hair strutted up to us, a cigarette hanging from her mouth. I assume she's Evie. Her and Steve started making out, so Soda and I found us a table inside. Steve and Evie finally came in after a few minutes and joined us.
Overall, I didn't say much. It was quite awkward, especially because Soda was so good looking he scared me a bit... Steve, Evie, and Soda talked a bunch though. I pretty much just sat there quietly and enjoyed my free meal until I finally thought of something to say;
"Steve," I began, "If Evie is your girlfriend, why were both you and Soda trying to get with me?"
A look of disgust and betrayal crossed Evie's face, "Steven, is this true?"
Steve stuttered, and Evie suddenly slapped him across the face. Steve put his hand on his reddened cheek, his mouth wide in shock.
He defended himself, "There ain't nothing wrong with casually picking up a broad off the streets, I do it all the time!" He suddenly regretted speaking...
Evie gave him a dangerous glare then went back to her food without saying anything else. We were all silent for a while until Sodapop and I exchanged glances and started giggling.
Everyone finished eating and went outside.
"My parents are expecting me home soon," I announced. Soda nodded and smirked, "See you around, princess."
He winked at me, then ran to catch up with Steve and Evie, who were making out in the corner of the parking lot again.
People say it takes days, months, or even years to fall in love.
I think I did after one hour.
