It would have been best if they could have woken up lazily the next morning; drifting in and out of sleep while curled up in each other's arms, stealing food from the dining hall to have breakfast in bed, relishing in the bliss of being able to hold and kiss one another without the mess of rules or lines not to be crossed.

They didn't get to wake up this way because they still had to go to class - they were instead both harshly removed from their separate dreams by an alarm.

Fred quietly groaned and reluctantly removed his arm from where it was curled around Sage's waist to switch off the alarm. When he turned back to Sage, she was blearily opening her eyes and yawning. She lifted her arms above her head and arched her back to stretch, something that Fred now knew she did every time she woke up, and turned to him to give him a lazy smile that Fred returned easily.

It didn't matter to either of them, the way that they woke up that day or where they had to be, because they were both still incredibly happy due to the events of the night before. Nothing that the day could throw at them would be able to take away any of the bliss that filled both of their bodies.

"Good morning sweetheart," Fred said with a wide smile and leaned his body forward to press a kiss to Sage's lips.

Sage's lips curled into a smile against his and she hummed contentedly before pulling back. "Sweetheart?".

"Mmhm," Fred said proudly and sat back up on the bed. "You're going to need to get used to the pet names, love. I've been holding them back for too long and I'm not going to do it anymore."

Sage giggled and moved to sit up on the bed against the headboard. "Oh yeah? And what should I call you then? Sweetcheeks? Studmuffin? Snookums? Ooh, I know, sugar lips."

Fred chuckled and gave her another quick kiss. "You can call me anything you want, beautiful."

Sage shook her head but could feel a faint blush rising to her cheeks.

She yawned again, still not fully awake, and patted Fred on the chest. "Okay sweet cheeks, I need to go back to my room to get ready."

Fred sighed. They both wished that they could just spend the entire day in one another's presence, especially now that an entire world of feelings and security with one another just opened up to them, but school came first. They could wait until the end of the day to be alone with each other.

"Okay. I'll see you at breakfast," he said. Sage slowly stood up from the bed, obviously not wanting to leave. "I love you," he said once she stood up.

Sage smiled down at him and bent down to give him a kiss, this one a bit deeper and lasting a bit longer than the other ones that morning.

She was practically glowing when she left his room.

When she stepped into her own room she didn't expect to see Ginny and Hermione waiting for her there, each of them fully dressed for the day and looking very impatient where they sat on Hermione's bed. They were chatting about something with smiles on their faces though, their crossed arms and tapping of their feet on the ground the only sign of anxiousness between the two of them.

She chuckled as she shut the door behind her. "Were you guys waiting up for me? You're going to miss breakfast."

Ginny immediately stood up from the bed. "So?" she asked excitedly.

Sage was feeling like a menace that morning so she schooled her face into a clueless one. "What?".

"Sage," Ginny warned. Sage was always a bit scared of Ginny when she used that voice.
