*Alex's P.O.V*

"We're almost there." Matt said as we were officially in Georgia and we're almost to our new apartment.

We've been driving for almost an hour, which wasn't too bad. The flight took a lot out of me and I'm really tired. I'm trying my best to stay up cause Matt is driving and I wouldn't want it to be all silence in the car.

"I can't wait." I said as my head was leaning against the seat.

"You can get some sleep, babe." He looked over at me.

"I know." I said. "But I don't want it to be all quiet in here, especially since you're driving."

"We have like another thirty minutes, babe. You can get some sleep."

I looked at him to see if he was okay with this. When we were at a red light, he gave me a look which was pretty much giving me permission. I nodded and then tried my best to get comfortable in the car seat.

We woke up early and we were at the airport waiting for who knows how long. It felt like it was forever. Then on the plane ride, I was exhausted.

I'm not a morning person if you forgot that.

As I am starting to get some rest, I think back to this morning before my parents left to work. I made sure to wake up early to give them a proper goodbye.

|Flashback to earlier this morning|

"You have everything you need?" My mom asked me as I was in the kitchen.

Matt was currently putting everything in the rental car that he had.

"Yeah." I nodded. "Everything is ready to go."

"This day came by so quick. I wasn't expecting it." My mom came and gave me a hug.

I hugged her back and just stayed in her embrace for a little bit. My dad was behind us and I can see him looking at me. It's hard for my parents as well.

"Mom, I promise that I'm going to be alright." I was trying to keep it together for all of us.

"We know that you'll be okay, honey." My dad then said as he came over to us and then gave me a hug. "But know that you're still our only daughter. We want you to be safe."

"I promise, dad. Plus, if I have to, I'll head to the store and get one of those keys that people use when they are protecting themselves in public. You know the one with the pepper spray and all that." I said, trying to tease him but also with a serious look on my face.

My dad put his hands on my shoulders. "Just remember that just because you have a home over in Georgia that you don't forget about this home. This will always be home if you ever have to come back."

I had a sad smile on my face. This was so much harder than I thought it would be.

"There's always a place for home." I said and dad had smiled.

Matt came back inside the house and then looked at my parents and myself.

"Everything is all packed." Matt said looking at all of us.

My mom went over to Matt and then gave him a hug. I had seen her whisper something to him but I wasn't sure what it was. Then my dad went over to him and gave him a hug and did the same thing that my mom dad. He whispered something to Matt which I couldn't tell what it was.

"We also hope you two come to visit us whenever you get the chance." My dad said.

"Certainly." Matt smiled.
