"Can you believe that we've been married for almost a year?" I asked Matt as we were cleaning the kitchen after we finished dinner.

"Been the best year of my life." He smiled as he put the last dish away and then he walked over to me.

He picked me up and then put me on top of the counter. I wrapped my arms around his neck as his arms were on my waist. We were both smiling at each other and I can't help but think of how lucky I am.

The past few months have been everything that I've ever wanted. I have my dream job, and even my dream guy.

It's truly an amazing life for me. I'm enjoying how great my life is and I'm sure that Matt is feeling the same. We both are having a great time.

Matt and I even started to take more visits to California so that I'm able to see my family. My parents are doing good and it makes me glad because I'm not sure what they're feeling. They'll tell me over the phone but it's not the same when it's not in person.

Ellie and Lucas have been doing great. In fact, they're even engaged. Lucas proposed to her when it was Christmas and I'm so excited for Ellie. When she told me the news, I'm pretty sure I cried.

Kayleb is still working at college but he has one more year left, I think. He's been working hard and he's been telling me that he is close to making a deal about starting a business in honor of Colton. It would be sports related because both of them are fans of sports.

But yeah, everything seems to be going well for me and everyone else that is in my life.

Also with Macsen, he's already graduated high school and he's also going to be attending college in Georgia so that he can pursue a career in golf. He's taking a real liking to the sport and he wants to try and be professional. I think that's an amazing goal for him. I'm proud of my brother in law.

It's kind of crazy how I was an only child and I didn't have any siblings. The only people that I could call siblings would be Kayleb and Ellie. But now I can say that I have two new sisters and a brother who are Matt's siblings.

Just thinking about everything puts a smile on my face.

And then I would think about my husband who is just so amazing.

Life with Matt has been pretty sweet. We've shared a lot of cute moments together and I'm thankful for everything.

"I'm so lucky to have you in my life." I told him.

"I'm so lucky to have you in mine." He said smiling and then he gave me a soft kiss with me kissing him back.

The two of us have been through a lot the past few months but we've been able to figure it all out. We'll, of course, have some disagreements but we always try to talk it out and then figure out a way.

We're a team and it's important when we work together.

While we were enjoying this little moment together, I can't help but to now think about how great our life has been and maybe it's time to make our life even more greater.

"What's going on in your mind?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I've been thinking..."

He raised an eyebrow. "About what?"

Now I was a bit nervous to talk to him about it. But I figured that it was a good time to completely talk about it. With us almost being married for a year. We were growing up and taking responsibilities. We have hard working jobs.

So why not?

"Can we talk about this in the room?" I then asked.

Matt nodded and then helped me off the counter. We double checked to make sure it was all okay and clean before we went to our shared room. Jasper was in the living room.
