Chapter 15

*Alex's P.O.V*

"Okay, so, Cassady said that we can stop at a restaurant that is in town. Some other cast members will be there as well." Matt said as he came out of the shower.

I nodded. "Sounds good."

We were getting ready to have a fun night out in New Jersey. Day one of New Jersey was pretty successful and I'm sure day two will be pretty successful as well. When the convention was over, Matt, Macsen, and myself were with Cassady riding back to the hotel.

Cassady took a picture with all of us and posted it on Instagram.

I've noticed that there would be fans that had posted pictures of Matt and I at his autograph table. Which would signal that they now know about us obviously. Since this was the first time that Matt and I have gone public. I would look at the pictures and sometimes would repost them on my Instagram story.

I had looked at comments to see what the fans were saying about me because let's face it, it's nerve racking. Matt is an actor and sometimes fans can be cruel on the internet.

Majority of the comments were nice and polite but there would be a couple of hate comments but I listened to what Matt said and just ignored the hate comments.

Matt knew that I would be worried about how the fans would react and I am still worried. But I will try my best to get through the hate if it gets any worse. This is all new to me but Matt is going to help me through it all.

And since Matt and I were now public, I took a picture of Matt and myself that I had in my camera roll and then posted it on Instagram with the caption being a red heart emoji. I tagged Matt in the post and then got off Instagram.

I, of course, went to check on Kayleb and Ellie to see how they were doing. Kayleb had posted about the San Francisco game that he went to with his brother, Colton. Remember when Ellie and I gave him tickets to a game that was in June? Well, he went to the game a few days ago. It looked like he had a lot of fun.

Ellie has been posting pictures with family and a bunch of other summer pictures.

Nowadays, I wasn't on social media so that picture of Matt and I that I posted was the first one that I posted in a while.

What I was wearing for tonight was jean shorts with a red and white striped shirt. I kept my hair down but I made sure to curl it. Then I was bringing a loose jacket in case it got a little bit cold at night.

Matt came back from the bathroom and was dressed black jean shorts and was wearing a graphic t-shirt. We both already had our shoes on.

"You ready?" He asked me.

"I'm ready."

I made sure to grab my phone and Matt did the same. He then grabbed my hand and we were out of the hotel room. Macsen was already outside in the hallway waiting for us.

"Cassady sent me the address to the restaurant. We just have to do a bit of walking. It's not that far." Macsen explained.

Matt and I both nodded.

So the three of us walked the five minutes to the restaurant. It didn't take that long at all even though it felt like it took forever.

Walking inside the restaurant, we saw that Cassady was at a table with Callan, Chandler, and Katelyn.

"You guys made it." Cassady said as she got up and then greeted each of us with a hug.

I'm nervous now again because it still seems surreal that I'm hanging out with people who are on my favorite show and I'm with someone who was on the show as well. I've met all of these people back in London.
