Chapter 35

*Alex's P.O.V*

"Babe, can you go to the store for me to pick up a few things?" I asked Matt as I went into the living room after I went to the bathroom.

"Sure." Matt got up from the couch. "What do you need?"

"We need more cheeto puffs and strawberry yogurt." I said.

"Pregnancy craving?"

I nodded. "The baby really wants it right now."

Matt chuckled. "Okay, then. I'll be back as soon as I can."

He put his shoes on and then went to grab his keys. He came over to me and then gave me a kiss on the lips. I smiled into the kiss as I kissed him back. Then we pulled away and he placed his hands on my stomach.

"Okay, baby, you be good for mommy while I'm at the store. I'll only be gone for maybe ten minutes."

I smiled just seeing Matt talking to the baby. It always makes me happy.

Then he stood up and then looked at me. "I'll head to the store now. I love you, babe."

"I love you too."

After that, he was off to the store. I stayed in the living room and sat on the couch while I watched some videos on Youtube.

I'm now 3 months pregnant. When Matt and I found out that we were going to be parents, we made an appointment for the baby a few days after. The doctor confirmed that we were indeed pregnant and she gave us tips on everything about parenting and babies.

Then we had another ultrasound a couple weeks after that other appointment where we were able to hear the heartbeat. The baby was starting to grow back then.

And like I said, I'm now 3 months pregnant. I'm already starting to show.

Every time that I am looking into the mirror, I would smile at myself when I see my belly. Since that is where the baby is growing and it's just so amazing so see. Just knowing that a life that Matt and I created is inside there.

And we're so excited to meet our child.

His parents were super excited to hear that we were pregnant. His parents had hosted a dinner a few weeks after we found out that we were pregnant and then we told them the good news.

MacKenzie, and Madison can't wait to be aunts to this baby and Macsen can't wait to be an uncle.

And of course, his parents can't wait to be grandparents.

I had told my parents the news via Facetime. My mom immediately started crying because of how excited she was. Plus, she calls me almost everyday to see how I've been doing with the pregnancy.

And my dad is super happy for me. I can tell that my parents can't wait to become grandparents as well.

I definitely made sure to tell Kayleb and Ellie the news at the same time.

We were Facetiming each other after I found out I was pregnant and then I told them the news. I'm pretty sure that Ellie was trying hard to not cry. Kayleb couldn't stop smiling and then he said congratulations to me.

It was an amazing feeling to know how happy people were for Matt and I.

They all can't wait to meet the baby.

During one of our ultrasounds, the doctor had told Matt and I that the baby would be due in December. My due date is December 12th. I only have six more months left and then the baby will be here.

The morning sickness was horrible the first couple of weeks. It still happens every now and then but let me tell you, I was having such a hard time those first couple of weeks.
