*Matt's P.O.V*

The next day has arrived and I've completely been alone with my emotions. Since honestly, that's the best case scenario. Since if I snap with my emotions, something bad could happen and I don't want something bad to happen.

When being in bed, I would fiddle with my bed sheet while staring at the ceiling and just thinking about how neglected I feel from my girlfriend.

She was here yesterday but I wasn't in the mood for a talk to happen. I know that sounds rude but I don't know if I can muster up the courage to have a talk about everything that has happened the past few days.

The sheets are cold but there's not much I can do about that.

I sighed and was ready for a nap.

But that isn't going to happen because then Macsen came to my room.

"Hey, umm I just wanted to tell you that Alex is here." He said.

"Tell her I'm taking a nap." I said and then started to get more comfortable on my bed.

"Dude." Macsen said. "Just stop. Go and talk to her."

"I'm surprised that she wants to talk to me. Since she's been super busy flirting with her coworker at Target."

"If anything he is flirting with her and plus, today is her day off. She came by to talk to you about what happened." Macsen said.

I stared at the wall. "I don't know what to say."

I felt Macsen sit at the end of my bed and I heard him sigh. "You don't have to talk. You can listen to what she has to say. That's the best thing that you can do."

Maybe he's right. Sometimes listening is better than talking. So if I just listen to what Alex has to say, I could have a sense of what I would have to say next. He was right, it was the best thing that I could do.

"You can tell her that she can come here." I told him and he smiled a small smile.

I watched him leave my room and then I turned to look back at the wall. Then seconds later, I heard footsteps that I already know that it's Alex. It's not hard to tell. My bedroom door was shut and even though I'm not looking, I know that Alex is staring at me.

"Matt.." Alex said. "I'm sorry for what I did. I didn't mean for that to happen. I didn't mean to ignore you when Garrett was over at our apartment and I should've let you be more into it when we were talking. I know that you feel neglected by me but I want to make it up to you and do what's right. Plus, I should've known that Garrett had insulted your work when you were on the Walking Dead. I'm sorry for everything I've done and I want to make it up to you."

There's a lot of sorry in what she just said.

"But why did you do that?" I asked, still not looking at her.

"I didn't mean for that to happen. I guess I was just excited to get a new view on life."

"I didn't teach you landscapes just for you to get that excited and to ignore me." I told her.

She sighed. "I'm sorry, Matt."

Now I thought that this was the perfect time to actually face her. So that we can really have this talk about what she's done.

So what I did was sit up and then look at her. "It's funny how you said that I have no competition. But then you bring Garrett into our apartment without even talking to me about it."

"I thought you would've been okay with it."

I tilted my head. "Keyword: thought."

"So you wouldn't have been okay with it?" She asked.
