So, we've come to the last chapter of this story and it's time to finally say thank you for everything.
I remember when I first started writing the first chapter of the first book, it was over two years ago.
I started writing the first book in 2019.
Now here we are, two years later, with the last official chapter of the third book posted and the Noticed Me series is over.
It's like an end of an era.
And when I started writing this series, I wanted it to be different. Since most of the time where people write about actors of the walking dead, they'll make the main character be apart of the show and that's how the main character or female lead meet the other main character who will be one of the actors.
And I didn't want that to happen in my book. I kind of was wanting this story to be an Instagram story and then they could meet in person along the way, in which it did happen.
I had no idea that this series would be a trilogy but it is and I'm proud of it.
I'm proud to have written this Matt Lintz story. I feel like I was able to incorporate things that Matt is into in real life and still kind of gave it a twist and everything.
Since I do feel like the actual Matt Lintz and this Matt Lintz from my story is like two different people.
It's completely crazy to me.
Shoutout to Matt Lintz for being I inspiration for this story.
Thank you to my first original character, Alex Eastin. Someone who's so laid back and strong even though she's been through so much. I remember writing that one specific chapter in book one and I was in tears by the time that I finished writing it. I loved writing Alex's story and character. Her personality was well written and I'm thankful to have her as my main original character.
Thank you Kendall Vertes for portraying her.
I now wanna thank my second original character, Kayleb Hayes.
Kayleb will always be the sass Mouth in this whole story. I remember writing his first appearance in this book and I already knew that Kayleb was going to be that guy best friend that you'll see in books and tv shows/movies. But then Kayleb started to get character development when he got an attitude change in the first book.
Writing that part and then the chapters that followed, that wasn't meant for Kayleb to be hated. Kayleb is hard-headed as he's said before and he could be stubborn at times. But he always means well. Then Kayleb continued to have that character development in the second and then the third book. Especially in the third book when his brother, Colton died. That's when Kayleb completely started to not be as hard headed as he was like in the first book and he wanted to make Colton proud and do good for his older brother. I had a lot of fun writing kayleb's story and character.
Thank you Louis Hynes for portraying Kayleb.
I also wanna say that I did imagine Kayleb having blonde hair but once it was revealed who was portraying him, the actor had brown hair. But I could imagine Kayleb with both blonde and brown hair.
And also a thank you to my next original character, Ellie Tatum.
Ellie is the peacekeeper of the group. I think by this whole series, it could be shown that we didn't get to see a lot of Ellie's character and also personality even though we know that she was a great friend to Alex and she was so sweet and caring.
I think Ellie could be seen as quiet as well. Since she would be stuck in situations where Alex and Kayleb are yelling at each other.
Even though we know some stuff about Ellie, I still feel like there's more to be told about her.
I do wanna announce this right now that there will be a spinoff book that will be in Ellie's point of view.
It'll take place after Alex announces that she's moving to Georgia.
Which it will consists of Ellie's thoughts and how she is with her older brother and sister, her friendship with Kayleb and Colton and part of her junior year where she will meet Lucas.
I probably won't start that book until another year or two. I'm not sure but I have some ideas for it already.
So thank you Rowan Blanchard for portraying Ellie.
And there's one more original character that I have to thank and that is Kayleb's brother, Colton Hayes.
So we all know that in book 3, it is revealed that Colton died of a heart attack at the age of 23.
He's made some appearances throughout the series in the first two books and he's mentioned a couple of times in the third book but he never was there in a scene.
I was battling on what I wanted to have happen in this book. Since there were two decisions.
And I ended up going with this one where Colton dies.
I enjoyed writing that one scene in book 2 where it's Kayleb and Colton and here's Colton giving Kayleb advice about college. I sometimes reread that scene and get sad.
I love the bond that Kayleb and Colton have as brothers.
Thank you Caylus Cunningham for portraying, Colton Hayes.
I also wanna say now that there will be another spin off book but it'll be in Xavier's point of view. Where he's in in senior year of high school and he's all grown up.
I have some ideas for that book as well and I can't wait to write it.
This book will always have a special place in my heart and I'm truly thankful for how it came out.
I'll love to look back on it one day and see how the story progresses.
This was a fun journey and I won't ever forget it.
I will be writing another book and I'll be sure to announce it soon.
But, thank you guys for everything, I appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
