CHAPTER 5

Nikita pushed the door open and her two friends followed behind her. All of them were nervous, but Pandora was the most scared seeing that she had caused the entire situation to escalate.

In the large office, there was a man sitting on a leather office chair, wearing an expensive striped suit. The office itself was clean and luxurious, proven by the furniture and the decorations on the book shelf. It was the office of the producer of Bliss TV, one of the most popular Media Companies in the country.

Once they had entered, they saw Apogee's manager already sitting on one of the chairs opposite the producer. But it didn't take long for Pandora to notice that there was another man sitting next to their manager on the other chair, and some 7 boys standing behind him. She knew who they were, and she was not going to be in the same place with them.

'I'll wait outside...' Pandora started and was already walking back towards the door.

'Pandora, don't you think you've caused enough trouble?' the manager asked in a stern tone. Everyone set their attention on her, including all the members of TNT. She had to admit, she had caused enough trouble. So she turned back around and joined her friends, arms folded in annoyance. She just couldn't wait to leave the room.

'I'm Mr. Cai,' The producer said to both TNT and Apogee who seemed to not know what was going on. All of them were going to be briefed on the situation which seemed to have already been decided by the company. 'I know you're probably curious as to why you two distinct groups are here, but I'll tell you.'

Pandora was scared, for some reason, she felt like she was being kicked out of the group. She didn't understand why it would be someone other than her own CEO or manager informing her, but that's what seemed to be close to making sense for her. But then why would TNT be in there too if that was the case. She mentally shook her head, it couldn't be that.

'Things aren't looking too well for you kids. Your fans are getting rowdy and out of control. And this was just the beginning, your fans could get out of control and do something worse next time.' the man started to explain.

Some TNT members looked at Pandora to see her reaction, and were proud that she seemed guilty.

'And it doesn't matter who started the fan war or how it started,' the producer went on, and Pandora interpreted it as a sort of defense for her. She somehow felt a bit relieved. 'What matters is the fact that both your groups are going to get a bad image if your fans do something crazy. And as I'm speaking, Popcorns are already planning a revenge on Apogee fans.'

'Oh no,' Jiaqi mumbled.

'And fans are not taking any apologies, they believe that the company is forcing Pandora into apologizing and she doesn't mean it. Furthermore, this is infuriating Apogee fans because they don't want Pandora to be forced to say something she doesn't want to say.' The man's eyes landed on Pandora momentarily. 'So, to save your reputation, TF Entertainment and Blue Moon Entertainment have decided it's better to depict you two groups as groups who get along in real life. This will calm down the fans when they see your interactions. So, we are going to put you into a reality show together, created by Bliss TV.'

Pandora felt her heart clench at the devastating situation, it couldn't be true. She couldn't be in a reality show with TNT, seeing them more often than she did now. She didn't want that. She was about to say something but someone beat her to it.

'I don't know...a reality show with Pandora? We're fine with the other members but this one is a pest.' Haoxiang said before she could.

Pandora shot him a glare but didn't say anything.

'Actually, Pandora is the one we need the most. She's the one who said the things so it will be more convincing if she's part of the reality show.' Mr. Cai told Haoxiang.

'Yes that's true,' Apogee's manager said, turning to Pandora. 'And hearing that, I hope you're going to put effort in behaving and showing that you get along with TNT during filming.'

Pandora wanted to say something else, but she decided to nod instead. It really was her fault. Don't be a brat Pandora, she thought to herself. She shut her eyes to keep her emotions inside.

'So what's this reality show like sir?' Chengxin asked, trying to change the subject. Pandora wasn't his favorite person, but he was willing to do what it took to protect the band's image, and that's to be nice to the entire group of Apogee and get along with them. He was the oldest after all, so he also had to lead by example.

'Well we're going to put all you kids under one roof and have you do different team activities. It will be full of several mini-games and let's not forget the most important thing...interaction between the two groups.'

'One roof?' Zhenyuan wondered. 'One roof with girls?'

'To show you can be under one roof with them without arguing. What's much closer than sharing a house?' TNT's manager asked them.

Nikita turned her face to Chengxin who was at her right, he looked much more handsome in real life to her. She would have almost smiled to herself if Rio didn't tap her shoulder.

'Girl you don't show a guy you like him that much,' Rio elbowed her and chuckled.

'Oh right.' She smiled at Rio instead.

'Okay so thank you very much, we've already signed with your companies. The show will commence this Saturday, so get ready. Good luck.' Mr. Cai announced.

It was a Wednesday, they only had two days to prepare for the show. Both Pandora's band mates were excited, but she was far from it.

Pandora and her friends were packing in the bedroom. Pandora's suitcase was wide open as she put in the clothes she picked for the coming 2 month period. The company was putting them away for a long time for such a useless show, she thought to herself.

As she packed, she was hearing numerous giggles from her friends who were sitting on Rio's bed and talking about the "cute" TNT members. Pandora couldn't stand how they kept looking through their pictures and making ridiculous comments.

'Aaargh!!!!' Pandora suddenly shouted and shoved her clothes in the suitcase angrily. 'Could you two talk about something else!? Why are you always talking about boys!?'

'Correction, cute boys.' Nikita replied. 'Besides, we're going to live with these guys for the next two months, we have every right to look at them.'

Pandora frowned. 'Exactly, you have approximately 62 days to look at them so why are you looking at them right now?' she started to remove the clothes she had just scrunched in her suitcase. 'Besides, you're gonna see them in the morning without makeup so I bet they won't be as cute as they look on those photos.'

'Okay that's not nice.' Nikita shook her head.

'Okay, I've always been meaning to ask this.' Rio put her finger on her lips. 'Why do you hate TNT so much? There's other groups out there like THE9, YH Boys and the like. Why do you target TNT of all of them?' she widened her eyes.

'Oh I have no problem with the rest because they're not overrated. But TNT is the definition of OVERRATED!' she replied, getting angry again.

'Okay.' Rio nodded. 'They're still big though. And like it or not, you're gonna spend 2 months with them. Living together and doing different activities...together! If I were you, I would try to change my mindset and just see them as my equals if not better than me.'

Nikita agreed with Rio. 'And...you can start by looking at their photos! You won't hate them so much when you realize how cute they are. Who's the most handsome to you?'

'Haoxiang.' Rio answered on her behalf.

'Bleh!' Pandora immediately answered then walked over to the closet. 'Fine, if you're gonna talk about TNT's looks, can you please lower your voices?'

'We'll try. And Pandora, on a serious note, promise you're going to try your best. Not only for us as a band, but for the fans you love so much as well.' Nikita said in a severe manner.

Pandora stopped rummaging through her clothes that were on the hanger. She really had to do this for her fans. She had to try hard. 'I promise.'
