The next morning at breakfast, Pandora tried to have the sweetest smile as she walked to the table. Haoxiang's words were still ringing in her ear, and she didn't want to give him a reason to be brutal again. She was quite early this time, so breakfast wasn't ready yet.
Jiaqi was in the kitchen with Yaxuan and Junlin as they fixed up what was going to be eaten that morning. Pandora made her way to seat next Rio, but Nikita was sitting quite far away at the edge of the table next to Chengxin who was on his cellphone.
'Nikita! Come sit with us!' Pandora announced.
Nikita looked at Chengxin who was too busy on his cellphone then at Pandora. 'No thanks, it's okay. I think I'm gonna sit here.'
'Are you serious?' Pandora asked incredulously.
'Yes she is.' Rio replied on her behalf to the oblivious Pandora.
'Why would anyone want to sit next to Chengxin when her bandmates are right here?' Pandora asked Rio as she turned to her.
'Don't you get it? Your friend has a crush on Chengxin.' Rio face palmed.
'No it's not a serious crush, I'm very sure Nikita knows that they wouldn't be able to date at this point in time because we have to focus on our career.'
'Nikita is not you.' Rio rolled her eyes. 'She cares about her career but she also cares about other things like cute boys who are within her reach.'
'No way, I'll believe it when Nikita actually says it with her lips.' Pandora waved a lazy hand at Rio.
A moment later, the camera crew and the director showed up into the dining room. The director looked at the dining table then eyes Pandora, whom he was shocked to see on time this particular day.
'Pandora, you've finally decided to behave today?' the director asked her.
'Yes.' Pandora answered in a low voice. She didn't want to answer that question but she did it anyway.
'Good.' the director nodded. 'We're starting filming!' he turned to one of the camera men. 'Go capture the boys cooking in the kitchen.'
'Sure thing.' the camera man agreed and left.
The rest of the members carried on their conversations, and Pandora tried to casually comment. Although she wasn't necessarily engaged in the conversation, she tried to laugh and talk a little time and time again.
After a short while, the boys who were cooking showed up with the breakfast and laid it out on the table. Everyone complemented it's appearance and then talked about its taste once they had finally tried it. Pandora liked the food as well, but she chose to keep quiet.
'So,' the director announced. 'Today is a free day. So just try to enjoy yourselves here and make sure to interact with each other nicely okay? And don't go up to your room and be alone there, I'm talking to you Pandora.'
'Fine, fine, not as if I was planning to anyway.' She lied.
The other members continued their conversation. Since Pandora wasn't allowed to go to her room, she went straight into the living room where she could even see several cameras in it, but she didn't care. Clips of her watching a movie on TV probably wouldn't even make the cut for the episode, so she turned it on and started watching a movie she feel she didn't particularly like. But it was much better than being in the dining room and helping the others clear and clean the dishes.
'Chengxin, go and sit with Pandora.' The director instructed him. 'You need to make the scene worth filming.'
'Oh...okay.' He didn't hesitate, it was his duty to make the show interesting and of course show the fans that he was alright with the girl who may have caused cake batter to be thrown at him. Chengxin made his way away from the sink and walked over to the living room, where Pandora's eyes were still looking straight at the TV.
